I am 100% agreeded with you, my kid reading quantity and quality is impossible.
Topic is space, animal, human, history and etc.
When K3, he can reading a cheaper book, not pictiure or story book.
The language is chinese, english & other language.
He learn many knowledge, grammer and skill from books.
After reading, he told me a book, he ask me a questions, he disscuss with me.
Therefore, I can understand what received in book.
Now,he is P1 boy, he can write 300 word for Easter activity with grammer & speak well.
I copied orginal to my friend for marking, who is a english teacher of secondary school. His comment the standard is F.1/2 but hand writing too bad.
Last X'mas, my friend's kid asked that " Where is me come from?"
My kids explained in medical term, "Spring & Egg", "40 weeks", "X & Y is boy or girl", "Delivery step"
It is impossible my 6 yrs kid speaking.
He told me the answer from text book.
Therefore, reading is better than doing execise and the result is unexpected. |
