I believe that it's better to reflect your opinion or raise your discontent (if any) to PTA or to the school rather than complain it in the newspaper. It's no good to harm the fame of the school. It is unwise to do so, bearing in mind that our sons are studying in the school. In fact, more communication increase mutual understanding and avoid confusion.

Be careful, I think the news didn't report by parents. It  may be "created" by the reporter after they recieved the news. I think parents must know how to communicate with school before reporting to media. I only believe 20% of HK newspaper.  Especially for "東方日報" and "Appledaily".

However I think our school can do better in future if there is any additional charge.

唉!報紙就是小題大做!我覺得請一個全職的外籍老師是非常重要的,如果只靠政府的話,我們d仔真係成年都只是見幾次"鬼",有等於無,現在甘多直資和私校,如果再這樣下去,我們d仔的競爭力便越來越低,如果大家諗深一層,每月$200元,飲少餐茶都巳經夠比,但可以縮短與私小的距離,我覺得是可以接受的.

林校長並無說英華小學達100%Band 1，是我的理解學生要有好的水平和英中接龍，家長要明白如果家校不合作，有些事情是無法推行和實現的。因為校網的限制，派進來的水平很參差，要整體提高水平的磪是不易。明年有15位新老師，大家拭目以待，期望有新的火花。

I support and look forward to the reforms in the school syllabus. The increase in the mis. fees is reasonable/acceptable!

I also support the school to charge the misc fee. There is no free lunch.  There is also fund for   families who have difficulties to apply.  Those who have got government's subsidy not need to pay. There are enough ways to help to poor families.  

I also support Ms Lam in her assertive decisions in "changing blood".  Teachers are the most important elements in a school.  Though English lesson is the most difficult subject to my son, he likes it most just because he likes the teacher and the lessons are interesting.  On the other hand, he dislikes the art subject which should be fun and has no pressure.

我九月要為個仔報小一了，我都好渴望個仔能入讀英華小學。經過我一輪資料搜集後，真係好覺得入英華小學讀，真係完全冇把握。
原因如下：
一、個仔冇亞哥在裏頭讀緊或讀過，如果有的話就必入
二、以計分方法，得十五分。好多人都提話起碼有二十分，才可以有機會參加第一輪的抽簽。咁即係話第一輪被收的機會，幾乎等於零
三、好多人都會選英華小學為第一志願就幾乎肯定。若在第二輪收生時，除非個仔的隨機號碼係好前好前，咁個機會就大好多。
四、今年報九月入學的，多數都係龍年出生的小孩。比起1999年出生的多三仟人，來年競爭比今年還會再大點。
五、聞說今年連叩門的機會都冇，因為一早收滿哂人了。

你個仔可能冇爭得咁激烈。不過，抱平常心吧。別的學校都唔差吧。

What is the calculation method? What are the basis? How to make up at least 15 marks?

隨機號碼係"隨"便個計算"機"(即電腦)算出來的"號碼"

幾時有？！我都唔係好清楚，我估計係第一輪完了，但又未有學校收時會有。大概之後一年的一月。不過，我地係唔會知個號碼係幾多號。

小一常識第四本即下册,12,13同14課名應是：—
  12課——公園裏的動植物
  13課——愛護公園
   14課——磁鐵

但小一常識好似係考11-13課，而唔係12-14課喎！？
