各位師兄師姐,

P.1英文科小朋友學了Present Tense, Past Tense, 並背了50個irregular verbs, 請問P.2 英文學什麼? 是否Present Perfect Tense 並背Verbs 的第三身 e.g. Swim, Swimming, Swam(p.1學), 要加埋Swum(P.2學), 還是有其他呢, 會不會有另外50個verbs給他背, 請指教

Hi,

我的小朋友巳上第二星期了，首日介紹學校設施及課室，我才知道没有食物部, 課程都是中、英、數、音樂、宗教、 体育等。我有問仔仔上課情況，但有時講些，有時又不肯講，不過他說都幾好玩，但他說上堂都好嚴肅，他問我點解？我只好話給他，小學生上課是這様的。只好慢慢安慰他不要太害怕。希望他早些習慣，基本上給他有心理預備•不知其他家長小朋友又如何？

Present perfect tense will only be officially tested from p4 onwards. Of course you can introduce to him some common ones.

My son didn't attend p1 in SFA, so I can't give you a comparison.  At the beginning of term 1, the english notes you receive will tell you what will be covered during the whole academic year.   

One of the main focuses in p2   is changing  a given sentence into
1)question,
2) negative,
3) plural (tested in term 3).

No future tense in p2.

The present and past tense, use of pronouns and plurals are easy, but when you mix them, they are tricky.

Actually english curriculum  in SFA is not much higher than other school. But it is much more tricky. It happens in all other subjects especially in maths. School's worksheets are very good brain power strengthening exercises.

I heard that you want to change school for your son. Anyway, good luck!

都好詳盡, 唔該晒!我小朋友都可能讀完P2看進步如何再算, 最大問題是數學, 但這問題在於他自己, 若不改善問題仍存在, 轉到其他學校都一樣, 只是其他學校有一些較差的同學薦底而已,因為我問過很多人都說SFA的數不算深反而英文深, 所以我說問題在於他自己

Dear MayFair,

其實我都決定Quit左間補習社, 趁暑假試下自己教番佢先, 其實數學真係好睇個tutor點教, tutor解得清楚條數深都變淺, 教得唔明, 淺又都變深, 最初因為我都唔係好識教, 好傷感情, 所以找間專教數的補習社, 但現在覺得其教法有D似Kumon 數, 只叫他不斷做, 所以現在唯有quit左佢, 買D補充習作自己教好過, 我想, 開始對他在該科的自信心來說很重要, 而現在只希望他二年級在數學一科有個好的開始

I have asked the GS teacher during PTA meeting, she said that there are still words for them to choose for fill in the blank question. For cursive writing, I am now teaching my child, but my child may not get used to the cursive writing, it looks so ugry. Is that all P2 students need to used cursive in all concerned test papers, worksheets? Or they only have to write cursive in dictation?

我地上年只係英文科需要寫撩草,其他科 (e.g. GS)都可以唔駛寫.
