我女都話數學用普通話教, 但都有講粵語, 因為有小朋友唔明.
另外, 我問過老師, 佢話除了教中文時用普通話, 日後亦會有分組普通話班教拼音.

Hi All,

今早有時間帶仔返學, 看見中學生正舉行早會, 約 8:20 早會結束及上課室後, 小學生們便訊速地集隊, 8:25 Ms. Din 便開始早會了, Ms. Din 分别用英語及普通話解說兩個 magic words (Thank you 謝謝 & Please 請你),  期間亦邀請了不同的小朋友回答問題, 8:35 早會便結束上課室了!

請問以往的早會也是在 8:25 便開始的嗎? 我還以為是 8:30 才開始的呢?

Hello, G1E parent,

As my daughter is sick today, could you please advise what is the homework for this weekend?  I called to school this am, she left my contact to the teachers, they said they wl give me a call back at the day end.  Do I need to go back to school for collection of those worksheets, etc?

Also, heard from my daughter, she told me that they need two family photos, one is for English class, one is for Chinese? really not quite sure!!!

Yes, she did it yesterday.  I simly drafted 8 sentence & asked her to memorize it.  In fact, it is quite hard for her cos she never speak English at home.  Think her family name starts with "C" so she needs to present first.

我女今天已ＰＲＥＳＥＮＴ完，她帶了家庭照和一隻玩具回校，　ＰＲＥＳＥＮＴ完老師還奬了一枝筆給她。

Thanks for concern.  I believe that my daughter got a fever just due to air con in the school bus, her hands always are always very cold when she got off, but this silly kid will not ask auntie to turn it off or put on the jacket..

By the way, i called to school twice, the class teacher did not call me back; but out of my surprise, there is another male class teacher (don't know his name) replying to me, he is quite claim and nicely explained to me that no worry as they must give so much flexibility for G1 kids, class teacher will arrange something for those kids in absence.

Also, another issue.  Rec'd an english paper of phonics on thurs, do we all need to prepare a letter book for her?

Also, when i am typing this, class teacher just called, she said today only has 2 memos for parents, one is parent's seminar, another is meal menu.  For the HW, it is alright to leave it on next Monday.

各位Ｇ1E家長：

我今日去接放學，上了1E班房看，見班房壁佈上貼滿我們的全家幅，每張相側貼上日前派回家做的(我是小學生，我會.......)那張紙，原來張相是要來做壁佈的。

今日派了英文通告，通知孩子present的日期，到時要帶多一張相。

另外，我見黑板專有一欄，是要來寫手冊內容的，老師寫得好清楚及有條理，而且很細心地放大一些深的字，小朋友是很容易抄的。
今天手冊內容：1,中文-詞語三次
                           2,others--i,簽家長晚會回條
                                              ii,填10月訂餐單，交支票

學校洗手設備很好，自動出水，高度適中。

數學作業及中文作業仍未派回。

我見黑板無寫話做數學功課，但我仔的數學工作紙就做到p.6，是在班上做的。

英文今天派了brown bear工作紙，已在班上做完。

由於中學校舍還未完工, 中小學的早會都是在小學部的有蓋操場舉行, Ms Din 只是負責小學部的早會, 中學部由另一位男教師負責, 看不清楚他的様貎, 可能是另一位副校長。

由於時間表上的早會時間是8:30-8:45, 可是今天的早會 8:25 便開始了, 因此覺得有點奇怪, 不知是否每天也會提早舉行呢!

唉! 其實我聽到D老師用廣東話教，我真係好失望。

我希望D老師可以堅持用回普通話及英文。D小朋友聽普通話，最初會有小小唔明白，但我深信只要給他們嘗試，他們聽得多就會明白。如果，學校連運用語言環境的氣氛都不能營造。我會後悔比個仔入呢間學校。

我唸老師是没有錯的。我相信只是字體的問題。
你在電腦可以用唔同的字體打個"妙"。你不妨再思考一下。

我亦有個疑問。我們除了一本有份量的英文字典外，為何冇中文字典？很多小學會由小一開始在學校教查字典，筆順亦以字典為準，無須爭拗。記得本校中文課程應該要教高效識字，怎樣可以冇字典？我女小一時，已學會自己查字典，找部首及認筆順。小一家長們，你們的書單上有中文字典嗎？
