Sorry for late reporting as I've forgotten the password at home. (Office PC have records of all psw).

The most important points have been mentioned by other mums. May be I just add some more as follows:-

- Notice will be rec'd before 13/7 in case 要回校補習和補考, 補考 will be held in Aug. Even passed and promoted, if still no good, 要回校補習 during Christmas and Easter. The Principal seems to give us a feeling that even though one dragon, you still have to work hard.
- P.4 no more GS text book
- All P.1, 5D & 5E will be taught in Putonghua
- Will be 6 lessons a day, 45 mins for each lesson
- extra activities & assessment will be held in the last lesson in Friday alternatively
Chinese - stress on oral and listening
English - new test book(not IPE), a full NET teacher
Maths - a new penal teacher (Miss Tse), P.5 introduce English Maths
Also, results of exiting P.3 students (i.e will be F.1 in 2008) will be used to determine whether Ying Wa College can still use English as the medium of teaching. But it is still subject to the final decision after 15/7.

咁樣小三學生今次考試咪好大壓力lo???
A班咪每班得25個人?
B班係數學最好而編入...但如果中英又係最好...咁係咪入A班呀...但B班專教數學喎??咪好似好有問題咁lo?

每年雜費$2000....係咩費用呀?

如果評估計成績分?咁係百分之幾計入成績呀?

問題(4)
如上課的時間會調整,每節改為45分鐘,每日上6節,我計過就算放早都係早15分鐘到??係咪呀?
而家放2點55分...將來就2點40分lo?

校長冇用"精英班"尼個term,但大家心知肚明。

A班有35個人(mayc---Й校長話中英每班top 5入A班咩? )

<B班係數學最好而編入...但如果中英又係最好...咁係咪入A班呀...但B班專教數學喎??咪好似好有問題咁lo?>

如中英數三科均為top 5,我諗入A班多啦!

Let me try to answer your questions :-
1) The principal haven't quoted the words 精英班, but you can get the implied meanings.
壓力 - seems not only the students, but the parents as well.
A, B & C classes are 34,
D and E classes will be 30 or 31
Last question under Q1 will have to be decided by the school.

2) For the electricity fee, security management fee, maintainence, install computer in all classrooms etc.

3) Still under consideration, will be announced later

4) It seems that it will be changed to 8:00 - 2:45. Still subject to final confirmation.

Any other mum, please correct me if I'm wrong.

我好擔心呀...今次charles中文測驗退左步得89分...老師都打左比我...話佢退步左...因為上次都96分...我只好講會同佢溫緊d啦    有時我都唔係好識點教佢...佢唔係唔識..只係忘記加d句號就扣一分一分咁就扣左成5分喇...老師叫我同佢玩下d遊戲..等佢以後都記得加d句號....妳知唔知點玩法呀???頭都大呀???

One more: Ms. Lam said that if they try all best to help student but he still cannot get satisfactory result in P.6 then parents should think if the boy should go to Ying Wa College........

而且聽那位普通話的老師的介紹,我覺得她是一位非常好而且經驗豐富的老師,今年的小一真是非常之幸福.  (如果今年入到英華,真係開心到喊!) :cry:

唉，大仔應該唔係大問題，但細仔真係令我好頭痛，唔知佢幾時開腦，真係好驚佢上唔到英華中學，不過如果要勉強，我寧願幫佢轉校。

我都同你有同感，其實出面已經傳英華會脫龍，加上田北辰提議方案，我覺得小學係乘機整頓學生。

唔知有冇人知道田北辰個「轉車論」諮詢期已過，相信反對聲音不少，唔知依家會唔會行，政府真係好老套，未見其效，已令我地嘗到壓力，同當初政府倡議既一條龍教學理念相違背。其實我都讚成因材施教，只希望英華唔好出現金字塔式之教學模式，咁樣對小朋友之學習情緒有所影響，希望佢能做到「一個也不能放棄」!

過多2個星期就開始考試喇...我覺得好彩學校有評估le樣野呀...而家我開始識得點同佢溫習喇...我地輕鬆完le個星期...下個星期一開始溫喇...希望佢唔好太大意啦!

乜有傳英華會"脫龍"咩？為左保守"英中"招牌而脫龍,在道義上講唔通喎！
如李校長所云"英中 & 一條龍" is a package, not an option, 英華只有走"直資"尼條路了！
