老師要小朋友改正錯字...
但係我知改唔改好....

昨天收到小朋友帶回來的中文詞語功課薄.

當中老師把 "妙" 字的 "女字部首" 用紅筆圈起來。
並且在後頁寫上 改正 "女少"。(按:女字作部首是不應該這樣寫的)
我們反覆查閱課本及詞典亦不是這樣寫的。

思前想後，兩公婆爭論了好一陣子.
最後為免小朋友受特別照顧，成為VIP.
所以決定按老師的寫法去"改正"。

我         :  你呢度要改正呀。
小朋友 :  女字作部首唔應該咁寫架。 (估唔度連P1生都咁心水清...)
我         :  你照老師既字頭寫左先，我遲D會同老師傾番既。
小朋友 :  ..........

want to ask if anyone in 1E is selected to participate in the Eng/PTH 朗誦比賽, i've heard 1A whole class will be in the Putonghua 朗誦比賽.

if i was you i will not force小朋友改正, looking at the picture you provided...

firstly小朋友wasn't wrong, maybe the handwriting wasn't that 'decent' (but they're G1 just being primary student for less than 10 days)

2nd, i personally wouldn't force 小朋友 to write, when they're "willing" to write, i wouldn't discourage them, except when they really "wrong" (eg.misspelling).  In fact, my son writes all the notes/rules whenever he wants to and he likes to stick his drawings+writings all over the places at home (where i allowed to, like windows, doors).

i was a bit surprise to see the Chinese teacher rate on the writing too.... really necessary to rate them ?

完全感同身受，我女G2也有相同情況！
今天我女的LA工作紙有字給老師圈起了，在旁邊寫了一個紅筆字，但據我所學及查字典，女兒沒寫錯，老師的字反而.....    中文科也有這情形，天！

我叫女兒跟字典，她一臉茫然。真是難為了小朋友！

我亦有個疑問。我們除了一本有份量的英文字典外，為何冇中文字典？很多小學會由小一開始在學校教查字典，筆順亦以字典為準，無須爭拗。記得本校中文課程應該要教高效識字，怎樣可以冇字典？我女小一時，已學會自己查字典，找部首及認筆順。小一家長們，你們的書單上有中文字典嗎？

Sorry for not able to respond to you earlier.

My kid did not wirte down any homework in the handbook.  However he knew that there was a Chinese writing assignment to him. The Chinese words are 老師,同學,高,逛.

He also told me that Ms. LAM was sick.  I agreed with you Ms LAM was a very nice teacher. My kid  told me that he liked to talk with Ms. LAM and Ms. CHU.  He liked his class teachers.

Regarding the family photo, my kid told me that the family photo should not be too big in size.  The class teacher wanted a family photo of 3R or 4R size.   My kid does not knwo the purpose of bringing the family photo to the school.

For English subject, each kid of G1E have been assigned to give a brief of his family as per the schedule list.   They had to bring a family photofor the presentation.

Yesterday, there were Chinese writing homeworks, 4 words.

My kid had no idea about the Eng/PTH 朗誦比賽.  At least, he has not been selected for the said activity.

I cannot find the 中文同數學作業 in my kids' school bag as well.   My kid told me that they might be collected by the teachers.

It was correct that yesterday homework was Chinese writing of 4 words only.

I can't see how's your kid's handwriting. My personal idea is that we really need to do correction as according to the teacher.

BUT IT IS THE TEACHER'S RESPONSIBLITY TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN "THE PROPER STEP OF HANDWRITING" 筆順 WHCIH I FOUND THAT THEY MISS AT THIS MOMENT.

My son is in G1A of red team. If your son belongs to the same color team, he might finish his job or worksheets of Brown Bear Workpack already in the class. Therefore no need to do anything at home.

G1E parents,

奇怪, 你地個個都話畫自己, 我嗰個就畫大太陽, 仲話老師說中文 (does teacher Fraser speak Cantonese?). 不過他除了English teacher and 朱老師, 個個都話說中文(=廣東話), 可能佢英文差呱 , 所以佢都冇同我講過要帶family photo.  請問係咪present 嗰日至帶? 定宜家就要帶回校?

佢成日 "10" 吓 "10" 吓, 上堂就day dreaming. 好在都有BK班家長互相溝通同支持, 可以知多D. 多謝多謝

根據我女所講 (唔知可以信幾多成) : art 有兩堂, 一堂係用英文, 一堂係廣東話.  佢重話係兩個唔同老師tim!  [希望其他媽咪confirm一下]

另外, 我個女都話過數學係講國語的.  呢樣無咁可信.
