Hi! Have you  heard of scholastic book club?
I learnt that some HK local schools help students order english books through this book club. The price of the books are much cheaper than the market price.  
I hope SFA can help us too, but right now school just offers chinese books group ordering.

Did anyone mention this book club to Headmaster in the parents-school gathering?

Do you know the examination syllabus for the 3rd semester will be everything taught in P1? I am thinking how to get prepared for that. It's really a lot for the kids.

英文係 (all you have leant),數學都好似係, GS 只考第三學段,中文都係第三學段 (但其實同考晒全年無咩野分別), 然後張三個學段的考試成績,拉埋有一個全年總成績.

Thank you for replying.
I am writing to apply for P.4 entrance for my son in Sept.  He can speak English and so far so good, but Chinese is his weakness subject.  He just got the 2/33 in the class and 10/102 in all classes.  Anything else we should consider when interview and tests?  Please tell.

唔駛頭一二三名的,75以上係cert, 80以上係merit,都可以交返學校代領証書的 (只要係經學校幫你報名的就可以的了).

From what you've said, I felt that you really wanted to get your son into SFA. Then, just go ahead. Changing to a new school in p4 is quite a risk. Anyway, hope to hear your good news.

As no choice for us, his current school has to move to another place that is far from home, so I try to choose other shools for studying......
