Which interview you want to know?  I just quote SJC in the following.

I applied to interview in Cantonese.  But the teacher began to interview in English after my daughter, Jocelyn, answered the question in English.

Questions:
(in Cantonese)
- What is your name?
- How old are you?
- Oh your dress is beautiful.  What is the colour of your dress?
Jocelyn answered "Red"

(change to English)
- Showed Jocelyn a picture and asked
'What are the things that you will not see in the park?
(a table, a cupboard and a chair)
- Showed Jocelyn a book of Zoo and asked
'What is this' (pointed to the picture)
'Do you know how many lions are there?'
Then Jocelyn counted.
- The teacher turned to another page and asked the same questions.  Jocelyn answered it.  After the teacher turned to the next page, Jocelyn started to told the teacher the animal and counted them by herself, no need for the teacher to ask questions, until finished the book.
- Then the teacher say Goodbye to her.  Of course, Jocelyn say Goodbye, too.

The teacher was very nice and positive.  She always said "Very good".  I believed it's the reasons why Jocelyn performed excellent (unexpected) in the interview.

I saw there was another book about a Park.  As I remembered, some parent posted that there were questions on colour and shapes in SJC interview last year in BK.

The interview was on 15 Nov 03 and I got the letter of acceptance on 19 Nov 03.  BTW, I knew that there were also interviews on 8 Nov and 22 Nov.

Yeah, Natalie too, she came home with a little jelly yesterday?  And a "Hello Kitty" badge the other day.  But sometimes I don't know whether it's really from Ms Chan or she took it from her classmates?

No need to worry.  As I know, some of the accepted kids also didn't answer the questions correctly.  Some of them even didn't response to the teacher's questions.  

May be, if you have time, you just play the interview game (around 10 minutes) with your sons every night.  You will find that he improves much just in 2-3 weeks of time.

When I went to pick up Sueanne last week, I got on the bus no. 1 and asked “who is Natalie”, then she raised up her hand and said hi to me, so lovely.

Is it true that sjc use unauthorized supplier for chidrens school lunch? I saw in Next magazine today.

Ms Chan (vice principal) explained that the Next magazine is not completely true. The supplier gots the liscense but they prepare the food in a place not mentioned in the liscense. SJC changed the supplier immediately.
But, I'm still worrying......
Besides the liscense and the "supervision" under a registered dietitian, what else has the school done in monitoring the quality of the food. Our kids are too young to tell whether the food are fresh or not, any MSG added or not. Who knows?

我今曰同囡囡返學問Ｍｉｓｓ Ａｎｎｉｅ佢話該公司不應該臨時改地方預備飯盒同幼稚园午飯無闡•因為幼稚园無食飯盒，衛生是沒有問題，因為新巴食飯有過千人吃，但應該得學校同意，所以立刻愌承辨商，還叫我看貼出來的承辨商辨照，學校做野都幾快。

我睇左next magazine.  新巴飯堂係有食牌既, 不過就無食物製造牌和附加供應午餐飯盒牌, 而學校當初(四,五年前)搵承辨商時, 佢地係有提供牌照和參觀該公司既柴灣廠房.  我諗學校係有疏忽, 無要求承辨商每年提供有效牌照副本.  至於在另一地方做飯盒, 就明顯係承辨商欺騙啦!  而學校好難去調查, 吾通日日搵人跟咩!
