PCLL不用考, 選定三間其中一間，上網填Application, upload 齊文件, 收Offer, 兩個星期內交學費, 九月開始返學。（前提係Upper Second honours 同 pass 幾科conversion)

補充一下，1. 要考ielts, 無論本港定外國回來，但係要求唔高，只看總分7.0；2. 如果係LLB, 只看Law subjects GPA, 不單單看honours (因為要Apple-to-Apple comparison with JD and other qualifications and undergraduates in HK now can take  non-law subjects for 4/5 years courses. Law subjects are likely to be more difficult (in general only) than business courses. 3. It is panic for some students because the results can be released as late as in August whilst some can be released in end May (deadline for application is end April); 4. Some overseas students got CO but may fail in conversion paper and no luck to get into PCLL finally

很抱歉，你的見解跟我的認知有少許距離。舉個例：美國哈佛出產的蘋果應該好難跟香港出產的蘋果Apple to Apple 去對比。認真讀書的人也不會最後果年去考conversion。IELTS基本上對認真讀Law的人冇難度。

我眼見十幾個年輕人，大部分都有MC offer，入PCLL真係冇乜問題，當然佢哋所有Law subjects都六十幾分以上。

中大conditional offer講明要62分以上，城大只要求2A。HKU係比HKU d天之驕子讀的，外國畢業比較少會選擇。

實際操作係D大學都想收佢地想收的學生，詳細吾方便在這裏公開討論。

多謝你的補充說明，你是專業的，我都是在其他平台看到一些學生（包括外國回來的）評論才轉述一下。

另外，我相信考試失手係平常事，他們也應該努力過，但是沒有這麼順利吧了！

對於港大law係天之驕子這個說法可能會引起誤會，一間QS排名17的大學點同英美長春藤、G5甚至北大清華比較呢，我唔係話港大唔好，law school在香港，佢係60年代由余叔韶、張奧偉大律師等幫忙成立，歷史最悠久，從此，香港人就唔一定要去外國讀law, 港大收生平均係最高，但係佢亦有不足之處。詳細不便說了。

最後補充，HKU PCLL full time 今年CO係law GPA2.8.  三間大學PCLL的CO都齊全了。

有說法係MC的TC要求係一take pass PCLL, 那些外國名校生都就唔想節外生枝唔揀港大，而且，每間大學的PCLL都加左句放首選會優先考慮！

PCLL 只能在有限期內完成,冇take 2,無法重讀。據說有位 10A 畢業生,肥佬，就會失去做律師的機會。

Training contract 通常會有時間限制,例如要求於 2024 年 9 月入讀 PCLL,並於 2025 年秋季入職。你確實可以申請延期,但大多數聰明的學生通常不會這樣做。據我所知,只要順利完成,成績單上不會顯示任何補考記錄。即只有pass或fail。

PCLL 只會選一間,如果您排在次要順位,通常是無法獲得錄取的。就像conversion 一樣,我親眼看過有些年輕人只用了短短幾天就能背熟所有重點notes 並通過考試,看起來輕鬆自在。他們可能有特別的記憶力,但實際表現確實因人而異。

法律學習是一段艱辛的旅程,家長在這個過程中會感到非常心痛。但這對孩子的成長來說是非常重要的經歷,即使是最優秀的 1% 學生,也可能在過程中出現不同程度的抑鬱，有些還需要休學。適應第一年最為困難,需要大量閱讀和學習。有些年輕人告訴我,一個學期的工作量相當於完整的 DSE 考試。即使每天工作 10 多個小時,也很難與那些成績優異的同學並駕齊驅。當你身處一個每個人都取得 4 個 A* 或IB43分以上的環境中,壓力也是巨大的。所以,即使你的英語成績只有 5 級,讀法律也是可以的,但你可能需要付出更多的努力,在心理和生理上都會受到很大的影響。

在外部社會,取得一等榮譽學位並非易事。每年的 4 月至 5 月,許多年輕人每天只睡 3-5 個小時,除了進食和睡眠,其餘時間基本上都在讀書。

想請教關於英文水平問題, dse是English as a second language, 以前會考也是, 咁應該足以應付讀law 要求, 如果ib eng language A HL, 會吾有dd優勢？

以前啲人話英文冇 5*/5** 都唔好揀讀 Law，但係我覺得係睇吓你本身對依一科有幾大興趣，因為我相信有興趣先至會讀得好

我見finance & accounting gpa 有3 out of 4也不少

有興趣當然重要, 我工作上不時要睇tax case, 老爺寫嘅判詞有時好難明㗎, 睇完要再用在工作上,都考寫作技巧㗎,所以想知英文能力高D是否有少少優勢

如果入HKU LLB  LQ係30，咁英文要有星星先適合讀，就變成30-7＝23係其他5科，既係5x3+4x2=23 ，到時又會走另一個說法，咁多4會讀唔掂～

另一更有趣可以睇CityU, 話25都入到，咁減7變成得18，5科平均唔使4～

2.8對讀書人來講好難攞，科科差吾多要B- (2.7)。我同個年青人，讀書要以3.7以上為目標。

我對法律有濃厚嘅興趣，依家退休後五十歲人都讀緊，但無奈地支筆唔係好得，有力不從心嘅感覺，比英文好嘅人要加倍努力，也未必達到相同嘅效果。
