No need 18般武藝, I think 3-4 should be enough. Ha! Just kidding. But applying P1 is really a tiring process. My son also have some cert for his portfolio. If you apply schools that do not require portfolio, than you don't need many certs.

Yes. 2nd interview only provide to younger sister and brother of existing students. No outsider.

I agree that P1 application is a tiring process.  I didn't put certs in my son's portfolio.  I only listed out a number of activities / interest classes he attended.  I don't think certs are that important unless your child has won some external and well-recognised competitions.

Yes, decided.  My #1 is already in P1 in an aided school, saving $$ and avoiding the trouble of going through the whole tiring process again for my #2 and #3.

我囡囡不是好叻, 她連返學校做mock interview都喊, 去in 學校時喊又俾人"請走", 初時以為她接受唔到要升小學, 軟硬兼施, 解釋了好多次都沒改善.  好彩最後發現她其實有壓力, 好驚自己唔識答學校唔收佢, 跟住解給她聽老師只是記低那些問題您已學識, 那些唔識到時再教, 情況才慢慢改善...

我囡囡都只有一個offer, 但這個offer 是她和我都鐘意.  我通常in完之後, 都問亞囡對學校和老師的感覺.  雖然只是一個多小時的接觸, 但她都會說出自己的感受.  她居然跟我說SFA環境唔錯, 好似城堡.

昨天派左assessment卷,
原來亞仔不知不覺間學左咁多東西,
真是很驚喜
