原本都覺得無問題, 但睇完你地七大頁留言後, 心想可能已收足生, 學校現在只是見定做後備, 唉! 真是咀喪!!! :cry: :cry:

不要沮喪, 我都系抱住比個女 partrice 下物野系 interview.  你只系安排一間 DSS 比你小朋友 interview ?

或者有 d pass interview 但最後唔讀呢, 講唔埋. take it easy.

Oh !  fannychoi,  overlook 左, 原來你巳有 2nd interview = 收你個小朋友啦,  甘你要 make decision 啦.

如想 pick 英華 = 你小朋友系 boy.

英華都唔錯, 不過似乎 St. Margaret's 學習英語環境 + 配套好 d. 我老公鍾情英華, 但我地小朋友系女仔, 所以唔使想. hehehhe

明白學費都系一個問題. 今年 St. Margaret's 比舊年加了 $200/ month.  所以都要預定出年好可能 3,000 / month 啦.  學費 difference 成一半, 都唔小 ga.  

真系好難 make decision.

個人意見, 如能力可以會suggest 你 pick St. Margaret's, 因為我覺得要小朋友學好英文,  比佢有個成日可以講英文的學校好好多的.  另外, 我自己覺得男女校好 d, 以上純是個人睇法.  希望幫到你make decision.

1st interview is for the kids only.

我女不是在英文幼稚園讀, 我只是另外幫她報讀Playgroup罷了, 希望幫倒佢啦! 睇怕都是陪跑, 好, 我都要有體育精神!

Hi all,

Just have time to have a look on BK and found a new school namely St. Margaret (actually I heard it first time) but it seems so many parents like this school.

Would anyone there share your view on this school for me?  Is it also difficult to enter??   I've submitted application form for CKY.  If this school is one of good choice, then I'll try it for my son.

Pls share your view w/ me.  Tkx

You may check from their web site. This school, previously, is a girls’ school but according to some of the bk mommys, its reputation was not too good in the past.

It changed into co-educational school in 2000 (can’t remember the exact year of establishment) with EMI and there will be one more language to learn after P.2 or P.3, quiet similar to Tan Siu Lin. But their selling point is they employ many expat teachers to teach English which I think it is one of the advantages for student to improve their English levels.
They adopt small class teaching with around 28-30 students or may be less (can’t remember again). Try it. Worth to do so.

亞女一早領洗,所以我特別問校長,佢話有分加,不過我想佢會收d面試時精乖+英文底好既小朋友,有領洗紙可能未係甘重要.

我好心儀 TSL, 好想好想個女入到, 但我都成日同自己講 take it easy 啦.

我巳開始成日向屋企同阿女多d 講英文, 但阿女叫我 "媽咪,你同我講中文啦好唔好!"  吹漲

I just came from the interview. My interview time was on 2:10. I arrive at 1:55. I wait for 50min (And they did not turn on the air-con). After 50min, my kid went upstairs together with few kids. And I keep on waiting for an hour before my girl came down. Normally kids took around 30min to 40min, I don't know why mine take so long. Anyway my kid told me that the teacher asked her:
1) In Chinese: how to read Spring, Summer, Autunm and Winter
2) In English: A pictures, and tell what the kids was doing in the park?
3) In English: Put 6 things on the table, tell her to name it out without looking.
4) In Chinese: What did you do during the weekend?
5) She told me is a matching game, but she did not tell me in details.

She said is very easy is some kinds like a BB games.

CheCheMan, there are over 600 applicants and only 80 seats.

請問如 accept by this school, 留了位,  是否仍可以等自行分配學位的結果?  Or 已即時當放棄此 round 的機會?

yes ar and you need to sign a commitment that you agree to give up the government allocation system. That's mean you are not able to take the 1st and 2nd lucky draw. The only choice for you is to choose between DSS and Private school.
