It is really a bad news to outsider elites. What an unfair affiliated system!

我都係同你原因一樣所以無參加, 但有dLS媽話無參加都無問題, 反正開學都有好多activities可參加.
聯招當日我有帶仔去睇睇, 等佢知道自己第日返果間學校係點, 重同游泳班同足球班拿info., 感覺上游泳班果d呀媽好架勢, 大大聲話你而家唔join暑期班第日開學要睇下有無位至俾你join, 反而足球班個呀爸就好nice, 話任何新生都歡迎黎玩.

I would like to apply this school for my son in this coming Sept-2006 primary.
1) We live in Kowloon Tong, net 41
2) but we only have 15points
3) Do you think I have no way to get into DLS although by lucky draw.
4) Or do a have a liilt chance because I am living in net 41?

I am not LS mummy.  But I would like to share my last year experience.

1) We live in Kowloon Tong, net 41
=> many parents are in Net 41.  Even some may "borrow address" for the lucky draw.

2) but we only have 15points
=>  Even I have 20 points, I need to draw in 1st round (Discretionary Places) since the number of applicants are more than the allocated seats.

3) Do you think I have no way to get into DLS although by lucky draw.
4) Or do a have a liilt chance because I am living in net 41?
=>  Lucky Draw is by "luck".  Nobody knows.
If you are in Net 41 and you like this school very much, you may try in both 1st & 2nd rounds (Discretionary Places & Central Allocation).  If "touch wood" still unsuccessful, you may "knock door" after the Central Allocation.

BTW, do you think of any school in Net 41?

2) For me my case is quite complicate because I have one eldest son and a little girl
3) Actually I wanted to find a boy and girl school, so that I won't have one more time headache for my girl in the coming future-she is 3 years old now
4) Therefore my choice will be 油麻地天主教, 陳守仁, 崇真, 聖芳濟英文-Private school selection
5) But since I am living in net 41, therefore I would like to apply DLS and also 男拔 (Which will have girl as well in this coming year)-Lucky draw.
6) For the private school section, I can go for interview.
7) But for the lucky draw application section, I really have no idea how to choice in this coming sept-need to fill up 30 school in the application form. But I only have 2 in my mind

=> Agree.

4) Therefore my choice will be 油麻地天主教, 陳守仁, 崇真, 聖芳濟英文-Private school selection
=>  In your choices mentioned above, there are subsized school, private school and also DSS.  油麻地天主教 is in Net 31.  陳守仁 is DSS - If they accept you in earlier stage, you cannot participate the "Lucky Draw".

5) But since I am living in net 41, therefore I would like to apply DLS and also 男拔 (Which will have girl as well in this coming year)-Lucky draw.
=> DPS is accepting both boys and girls from this September.

7) But for the lucky draw application section, I really have no idea how to choice in this coming sept-need to fill up 30 school in the application form. But I only have 2 in my mind
=>  I think most parents will concern about the first few choices.  Just ask yourself - if the successful school is your 6th, 7th or 8th choice, will you consider?

8) Do you have any suggestion
=>  The schools accepting both boys and girls in Net 41:  DPS, Kowloon Tong Government Primary School, Kei Wa (new at Oxford Road from this September), Bishop Walsh, ........

9) Which school is your child in now?
=>  My boy will go to SFA this September.

SFA is a very school, and it was also my choice Boy and girl). Unfortunately without secondary school.
But if my boy can get in SFA, I really feel comfortable and happy.

Anyway where did you live?

Which kindergarten is your child in?  SFA requires written test as well in P1 interview.

I live in Kowloon Tong too, near Maryknoll.

have u heard anyone who can got a seat in 3rd round except our friend - didima!

Morning. I felt more and more nervous, it almost SEPT and start to go for P1 interview. I cannot sleep well most of the night. Still don't know how to choice.
LS is good, but what about my little girl?
SFA is good, but what about secondary school?
Some of the school are good, but I am afraid my kid cannot catch up.
Too many thing to consider...............Good day
