How long should the letterland course last for? A centre near my home is using letterland to teach phonics and it was named Helen Doron but now changed to Chlesa as they claimed they are the same but they don't pay for the name as Helen Doron learning center.

The letterland course there is around 2 years, 3months for the starting, 9 months for stage 1 and another 9 months for stage 2, is it right to last so long time?

CECES also has phonic course but only last for 1 year, why so big difference?
