Oh really? Sammy sits at the third seat from the third row. She always mentions her classmates to me and she usually goes with 4-5 classmates during recess, but she seldom mentions Gloria. I just think they are in different friends' groups. Ok, will talk to her tonight.

me too, i just asked my daughter to dictate 3 chapters' content and review the worksheets. And then stop to do the chinese octopus until finish the test and do it again. No idea how is the test style. She is weak about paste the 詞語 into the statement, fill in the blank.
And try to copy the worksheet and earse the answer and let her do it tonite. But i'm not copy all, becasue worry that she needs it at school.

worst thing is I heard from other parents that they don't have the 詞語 choices to choose from, they need to fill in the blanks with the correct 詞語.  She finds it's hard to find the right 詞語 to complete the sentences.  She cannot tell what the sentence is trying to say so can't get in the right 詞語.

Hi muimuiyan,
Yes, my daughter encounters the same difficulty as your daughter. My daughter was afraid of today's Chinese quiz even though I didn't put any pressure on her. She put pressure on herself. Anyway, I prayed Our Father with her several times to give her strength. In fact, she prays to God during school time when she needs help.

yes, i knew that is no choice. So, I asked my daughter to memorize all the contents from the book law. But even she can dictate the contents, and she may enter the wrong  詞語 law.

Your daughter is very cooperative to revise and dictate the contents. My girl was so mad that she kept saying that she forgot what she had learnt/revised.
Haha, she just told me that she did badly on the English quiz. She said that she got many wrong. Oh, well. I guess maybe she could do better next time.

Ai ya, I'm the bad mum, and give her many pressure. After the eng quiz, she cried for me that worry about she did wrong in the quiz. But she told me that she got full marks and I bought chocolate to her to encourge law. I'm trying release and relex her. Otherwise she hate study.
yes, until now, she really obey what i'm said. Hope she will keep listern to me when she grow up.
Anyway, all quizzes finished. Then we need to concentrate the exam loo.

we all need to pray hard and ask God to help our daughter to easily get through the upcoming exam!!  Christmas is coming in 1.5 months time, we all can relax a bit & take some rest during that 10 days.  Hopefully they don't have too much work to do during X'mas.

Sorry for my late reply as I was quite busy in the past few days.

I could finally spot Gloria and Valerie last Fri. Valerie even came out to ask if I knew her or not, haha.

Well, two girls could finish half of their lunch box that day, the lunch box was really big that day, and seemed none of the girls could finish all.

Two girls have different character. Valerie kept talking and acted cheerful when having her lunch. And she showed me several times how well she went. I think she had tried her best to finish half of the noodle.

Gloria is a quiet girl and seldom talked or played with others when eating, very good girl. She just eat the rice only until I helped her to mix some sauce and food. Sammy said she had invited her to go out together on Fri morning but then both of them just forgot it during recess.

I keep asking my daughter that do you know who is Sammy's mum. She replied me yes, and she told me Sammy's mum will tell the story to them during the library section or self reading section. So that I asked her must introduce herself to you and say thank you too. hehe
Yes, becasue I'm a hard mum. She is very scare that will be blamed. haha, I try to be mild mum to her now. She told me that also go out with Sammy during the recess sometimes.

Yes, my daughter is very quiet and disciplined. I hope that she would be more cheerful day by day and learn to be a confident person as time goes by.
Thank you for mixing the food with rice for her. She told me that the rice tasted a lot better with the sauce. She is so skinny after the flu, she needs to eat more to be strong and stay healthy again.

My daughter said that she has 18 items from handbook. Wah too much. Almost mid-term exam la, still have many homework. wooow woooow

Today, my daughter wrote in her handbook: 常測填充部份供詞, does anyone know what it is? I can't find any GS note or worksheet in her schoolbag.

I guess 常測填充部份 means some fill in the blank have choice for the blank. some not.
Not like chi and eng spell is required or no choice. Need to memorize the words.
供詞 - 提供詞語

My daughter got a gold medal today. She's so excited. She even put on the gold medal when we go out for dinner tonight.
She said every girl in 1C got a gold medal.
