紀律的野，囡囡只係返左２個月到都識了，所以，我個人而言，不因為平貴而有大分別的，由其是2-3歲上學，主要都是學紀律，所以，普通的幼稚園都可以．

我不是吹噓囡囡的，所有的果，可能在於小班教學．

點解？　因為我女女係讀下午班，而下午班無太多人讀，我女女一班都係得八個人，所以，學野多左有關．

而黎緊開學，我個女個班仲得３個人tim，開心死我lor，咁少人，happy 死    ．

不過，當然每個月都有小朋友插班啦！！！！我讀PN呢！！

Hi Mis,
I am not sure putonghua starting from K.2, if they replied to you yes. Then yes.
My son completed his K.1 & 2 in Laguna city. Since they don't have good whole day program as Kln Tong. That's why I switched my son to Kln Tong campus. The student in Kln Tong is less than other campus at first, but now I can see the number of students has gradually growth.

My boy is now studying at Think Mei Foo. What is the details of the whole day program in Kln Tong School? I thought all the branches share the same program. According to the headmaster, we can choose bilingual in the morning and English class in the afternoon starting from K1. I wonder what's the difference between Kln Tong and other branches.

how's your children in MeiFoo Think?  will you let them go to k1 in this school?  i hope to get more 'real' comment from you first.

Did they really say they teach PTH starting from K.2? My son is going to K2 at Think (MOS) and they have never mentioned that there will be PTH learning at all. May be I will ask again later!

Is Kln Tong really better? We have thought about changing to Kln Tong but we don't want my son to travel so much everyday....

So far, Think MOS is good. The teachers are very caring and patient, and they understand the strengths and weaknesses of each child.

However, I worry that the classes are becoming too big, there were 24 in the K1 class! Is this because Think is more famous now? So, for the coming year my son will attend bilingual (am) and Ducks (pm). Hope Ducks (pm) will be a smaller group!

Dear all,

It seems I am the only one in Kln Tong campus to answer all these questions.

1. Whole day class
When my son was in Laguna city. He attended Morning & afternoon classes. That means, He was in LK & ducks. Actually, this is not the whole day class. I only simply put my son to local section (LK) & International section (ducks). The school hours for
LK is from 9:00am to 12:00 and ducks is from 1:00 to 4:15. And the school provided lunch for those who attended both local & International section. The
reason I put my son to both classes is I did not make up my mind if I would go for local primary or International primary.  I wanted to make sure my son can handle both system.
After he completed K.2. The new campus was newly introduced in 2003. That time, our principal encouraged the parents to switch to Kln Tong campus as they've whole day class and the school hours is much better, from 8:30 to 3:00. And 60mins putonghua every day.
The adventage with this whole day class is less repetition. For example, when we were in LK & ducks. Something they learn twice. like phonics, math, and also some field trips are the same. And two school handbooks, one from morning (LK) and one from afternoon (ducks).
I think for those parents whose kids attended LK&duck would understand what I said.

For the Chinese, The textbook book we will use is local school textbook. I attended once Yew Chung's seminar, I saw some Chinese Journals from their student last year is good and I can see some Chinese Journals posted on the school in Think is also as good as they are.
I knew in Grade one, there will be some Dictation and chinese writing every day.
I am looking forward the school day and hope I can
share some more with some parents who might interested in Think Kln tong.

Thank you for your long reply! My son will also go to LK (am)+ ducks (pm), same as yours. I also worry there will be repetition, but the teacher told me that the teaching methods are different. For example, there will be more homework for the bilingual class but none for ducks. They will complete classwork in school instead.

They will also have putonghua, 1 hour every Monday and Wednesday.

So far (for UN and LN), I like their visits and using topics and themes every week.

Please let us know how is the primary school later? We will also consider!

My daughter is very happy there and the teacher call me everyday to talk about my daughter's progress in the school and what she needs to improve.  My daughter didn't seem to have problem to get along.  She told me what the teacher taught her everyday when I come home.  Regarding the K1, I think need more time for me to consider as the class starts less than one month.

Glad to know that your daughter is very happy there.  The teachers are good and reliable.  Regarding to K1, I just want to have an idea on most of your plans.

Btw, you've mentioned that the interview took 3hrs.  May I know the questions or  format.  My friends said interviews usually take not more than 1hr.  Why it was so long?

last time we had our interview for only 30 minutes. Just the principle play with my girl only.  No need to prepare as she follow my girl direction only.

Of course!  Wonder why child will not happy with the school?  This school is very open rather than St. Cathx etc.

Just want to know if you and your daughter are satifised with the school.  it seems so far you all are happy with Think (all branches).  It really gives me more confidence on choosing this school for my son.

my husband basically supports my decision but I know he still thinks it's not necessary to go there.  To him, any 屋村幼稚園 is enough so why we have to pay more.  I'm sure you all understand my reason.   I want to tell him more real cases of other families.  It shows I'm not requesting too much.

I understand your difficult.  Before, my father also said  屋村幼稚園/樓下個間幼稚園 is OK, of course, I didn't follow his idea.  I want to give my girl a open, happy, more foreigner, more outing/activiies school for her.  I want her to have a happy kinder. time.  I think it is very hard in primary/secondary school time, so I want her to enjoy more first.

Where are you living?   Which branches will you enter?

My son has attended the school for three weeks now. He likes it very much and never cry once (actually he cried on the first Saturday for he couldn't go to school). The teacher is very nice and phone me every day for the first two weeks.

Actually the interview is short with my daughter just 1/2 hr.  The principal just talk to my kid and let her to play around.  Cause we want to know more about the teaching approach and more deep of the school and ask so many questions to the principal to cause long interview.  The principal is very nice to get all the answers to our questions.  She is very nice and pleasant.  If you want to choose this kindergarten which near to your house, I think there is no doubt that you can go ahead.
