Hihi, it is really hard for kids to travel that far. May be you can consider South Horizons in Ap Lei Chau. It takes less than 30mins to travel (when there is no traffic jam).

Dear all mamies,

How's your meeting with the teacher today?  After the meeting, I was extremely busy with preparing all the things required by the school.  But so far so good.

BTW, this morning it only takes 30 mins from home to school (original we think it takes 45 mins) by driving.  The good news is my girl can sleep for 15 min longer (i.e. wake up around 7:15 am).

Hope we can get a new driver asap, then everything would be settled.

I remeber (if not wrong) the application form is around Nov/Dec time.  There is no test but just interview (separate interview for mami and kid at same time and all conducted in Cantonese.  Hope it is useful for you.

today is the first day of school ! it's so exciting to see so many classmates of my daughter. Some cried but most of them did not. I think most of them had attended pre-nursery before they joined the KG. My daughter had familarised herself with the other four classmates in her group. They are all nice little girls, I am sure my daughter will get along well with them. There were altogether eight teachers for 30 students, amost one to five. But I am afraid that the teacher-in-charge may not be able to handle all 15 students at one time when everything goes back to normal !

But it's very tired day for me and my hubby. So hot in the corrider ! but the feeling is warm and nice .

This is also my concern, especially when they are having different activities for different tables of kids.

Anyway, my girl enjoyed her first school day in spk and all the kids are so lovely.

today is the second day of school. The situation was much better than yesterday's. Those who cried yesterday only cried for a brief moment when their moms said goodbye to them. Then they integrated into the school lives and smiled a lot !

What concerned me is the long distance from school to the place where the kids took the school bus. It was so far away and there was only one auntie to look after the kids.

My kid has already got along well her classmates during the ride. Parents are not allowed to stay outside the classrooms starting from Monday.

From the smiling faces of these kids, I am sure they all like the school life here.

1/2 hr is really very fast.  I also took bus home on 2nd day and it took around 2 hrs, and arrive home around 12:30.

In our class, there is a girl live in Tsing Yi and the mami said that the girl need to leave home around 7:15 am to take MTR.
