Dear 9498mami,
If only 123 students in year 2012-13 S6, then the jupas rate is 57.7%. I am looking forward to knowing the final destinations of this year's S6ers.
Dear tttw1,
No matter, it is 55%, if S6 was 129 student, or 55.7%, it should be in the upper tier of band 1. However, there was still room for improvement and 100% level 3 or above in DSE Chinese should be the most important KPI. Another bench mark might be the percentage of students getting 25 points with the best 5 subjects.
From the Class Teachers List, for S5, my son is in S5, both English and Chinese Class are divided into 4 groups. It seems that the school believing that re-grouping students, hopefully with smaller class size as well, might help students in their languages learning. Even I don't like DSS system, I must admit that non-DSS schools might not have enough resources to make these changes.
Just notice that in S5, there are 3 maths groups for Art Stream Classes, 4 maths groups from C-E and only one group for F. F is usually the best class for S4-6.
There are many changes in SPC this years.
By the way, it seems that there will be only one platform for this year's SA election, so sad.
