上 bridging course 的S1 已開始踢西瓜波的傳統了，在 fb 上傳他們踢波之朋友問：一是波從何處來，二是校內當藏一西瓜波神。

另分享一個學校有趣傳統，每年影班相，外套上的各類章都會除下，除了坐在班主任左手邊的 class prefect 會掛上 prefect 章，而他一定不是該班學生。我都好大頭蝦，睇著八、九年校刊才發現。

亞仔返咗一星期 bridging course 已經識到好多新朋友，又話中間有15 分鐘休息時間可以去操場踢西瓜波，重話有個首席校工同佢傾計 ！

睇嚟佢應該好快適應新環境，而且好似幾開心，已經約埋新同學一齊放學坐車返屋企！

阿仔都有話小息時踢西瓜波啊！佢話有得借㗎。我心諗得個15分鐘都玩，真係唔嘥喎。不過開學後D大哥哥返嚟，嗰場又未必輪到佢地班中一仔玩啦

Not so following the rule feedback about ball being pressed flat:

May use a not to scale and also incorrect quote from England "The Battle of Waterloo was won on the playing-fields of Eton" to view the balls being pressed flat or bent away.  The boy should learn somethings when the ball were pressed flat or bent away, rules and unwritten rules governing places or how to face challenges in an overcrowded place.

I note from the school's prospectus that "St. Paul's College offers senior students the opportunity to undertake the IGCSE / GCE and it is now a participating school with HKEAA to enter students for the GCE/IGCSE examinations as school candidates."

I have no idea of what exactly the school can do for its students in relation to these exams.  Will students submit application forms for these exams through the school ? what else ?

Dear fckmama,

Some students took IGCSE in S4 and the school seems giving advice who should and who shouldn't.    Many SPC S5 took IGCSE and using those results to continue A level education in UK.  Some top niche S4 went straight to UK after S4 with IGCSE results.

Dear Jackieson,

Summer job is good for the boys, many SPC boys had summer jobs ranging from private tuition, waiter, sales to internship.

Sweating for cash is always a good thing.   My friend's girl from SPCS, who had a dish wishing job in a pub this summer, went to HKU, sweet tale.

School has posted the Jupas main round offer, the numbers seems having improvement from last year.  Will fellow parents share what we can read from those numbers?  Thanks in advance.

Since S2, on average, four students of my son's class would have gone overseas.  From S2 to S5, 3 summers x4 students x6 classes=72, so 120 plus is left in S6.
As boys are supposed to be strong in science, in most years, putting S6A & B of art stream boys together might only be 30 plus.  While science stream classes would have 20 plus per class.

By the way, 55% is not bad but still have room to improve.   I have just be informed by my son that he will go back to school next week to have tutorial lessons of LS and Chemistry, the school is doing more to improve academic strengthen, sound good.

I have a question about IB. I know that several years ago, college has considered the IB curriculum but due to some reasons, it has been rejected.
Does anybody know the reason behind(e.g. funding, teaching resource)?

And as IB is more popular and also schools like SPCC and DBS got good results in IB in the past year, anybody knows whether the school will re-consider IB again (some students for IB and some for DSE). Thanks

Hi, Hogwarts,

I am parent of a Form 2 SPC boy.  Do u know if there is any school course on the IGCSE or GCE for higher school boys at SPC?  If not , any recommendation for external course which can help?

Thanks for the information.  I heard from my friend that NTK fees were very high, upto HK$ 300,000 for the GCE course.  How about the qualtiy?
