This info I got fm my relative. She said that her colleage's kid is studying in SFA and 11-12 daily HW and finish the HW at 11:xxpm everyday. This is really scare me. So I want to confirm with SFA parents.

小學生做功課做到11:xxpm ，一早要轉校啦。

如小朋友不主動，一年級會較其它學校辛苦，最好父母有一定的學識和母親是全職主婦，因為要跟得很貼，課程也很快，三年級已要互相對答案，成日對錯，唔知夠唔夠時間教書，六年班要做許多英文功課，老師只是對答案，都冇時間解釋。英文數做多教少，考試卷又唔派，都唔知錯什麼。
今年又改考試計分方法，又唔咨詢家長，六年級已呈了一次分，又要臨考試前唔夠一個月才通知。這是讀了六年的經驗。還有校長很自負，成日話找學校結龍講了三年了。

My daughter is in P.1 now, and I do agree some of the points of the below.  Homework of SFA is not really that much of about 6-7 daily, and my daughter can normally finish all within 1.5-2 hours, but the syllabus is quite rush.  One important thing I feel quite disappointed is that 做多教少, which may be the syllabus is too fast and the classroom size is about 45 pupils that the teacher may not possible to take care.  Besides, the classroom works are not as simple and easy as the text book or homeworks.  So it really need the parents to be educated and can spend certain time daily and during the weekends to review and ensure the children are really understand all the subject.  That's no right or wrong, as the academic results of SFA students are generally high.

天下有一類人最難建立伙伴關係和最缺誠信的，就是家長了。家長對於兒女之了解，通常過高評估其オ能，却又同時對其最缺信心。所以如果你問小一至小四之家長，結龍好不好，會不會送子女到結龍學校，絕大部分都說好(如果龍校不太差的話，如英華)。

小五小六却是另一回事，成績好的家長比較了以前之派位成績和自己孩子成績，又會變得自信滿满，非非常出名之名校不報。好的學生都走了(1/3)，剩下中上至最差的一群，龍校一定十分難受。

最重要的一點是，私校不可和津校結龍，有名之直資，那個没有龍校呢？所以，別說三年，十年也不可能找到龍校(除非自己起一間)。

所以，入讀SFA此類私校，和入讀新派直資一樣，不單要了解學校，也要了解自己。

說說了解自己：

1. 如果一聽到每天有十一、ニ樣功課，就信以為真，嚇到震的。一聽說考三位數之加減，就嘩然瓜瓜噪的，一定是盲炳。要知道，每天有十一、ニ樣功課是不可能的，三位數之加減，是考考有没有天才，頂多一两條，不是考我等之尋常子女的。盲炳不适合報SFA此類私校，也不适合報新派直資，只適合去抽簽考津校。

2. No pain no gain，想有好成績，一定要努力，每間學校都一樣。好學校和劣校之分別是:好學校操完你學到知識，人變得機智，成世受用，造福人群。差學校操完你應付了考試，人却越来越死實，最适合讀教育學院，再去"培养下一代"。

五、六年級都有8成，有些補兩、三日，有些五日，部份還是私人補習，尤其是母親要上班的更是。

I think the VA drawings are kept by Ms. Fung without returning.

My son has kept the drawing material and tools in the locker since the first VA lesson.  I don't want him to carry to school in each VA lesson, his school bag is really heavy la.  But I know it is optional, my son said just few students put those in locker.

Cyrus always tells me she has not enough time to even put something into the locker       I remind her every time but she still forgot to leave the VA bag in the locker.
