如果下星期三8月7月晚7:00 pm有空，敬 請收看無線電視翡翠台「沒有牆的世界」，會專輯拍攝我們聖保羅的中三級視障同學楊展匡日常在學校裡生活，參加比賽片段，也有訪問老師和同學。还有以唇讀取3科5**的曾芷君勵志故事。透過此節目，希望大家明白SPC对教育的苦心，和教曉小朋友學會珍惜自己所擁有的幸福！本星期日下午1:00 - 2:00香港電台第一台現場訪問楊展匡，下星期一有几份報章也会訪問他，星期二会刋登。星期三就出電視！

我想知bridge course的編班是否就是F1的編班， 1班是否代表最好？6班是否最差？

Bridging 和 S1 的分班是兩回事，學校好像非常努力不再有所謂精英班，今年可能在 S1 分班都像今年 S4 分班般，有新搞作。

今年中一已有7位同學仔留級(更正了), 據悉有學生移民, 也有轉讀國際學校, 不能/會升中二, 高年級也有尖子師兄出國留學尋找更高理想......
請問是否每年(中一至中五)也有10名8名同學仔留級?
成績表是沒有普通話的分數, 也沒有寫升去那班, 幾時會知?

我個囝話S4期終試中英數不合格的，要在8月1日補考。如果補考再次肥佬，就會要留班。

上述並非校方核實訊息，但如屬實，學校補底之餘都會要求部份未逹標的同學留班，人數多少就視乎同學自己努力了。此安排令人想起大學年代的做派，但津校就不可能如此處理了。

I am a parent of a F.1 student of coming school year.
I would like to know:
1. "re-sit examination system" is also implied to F.1 students?
2. There are at least 8 students in each form are asked to repeat, right?
3. Are the students allowed to bring mobile phone to school? The phone is used to contact the parents after the school?

我其實是個𣎴合格的家長，囝囝讀S1那一年，我從沒有像您們那樣關心孩子將要面對的問題，我的回答一定不足的了，便請其他家長補漏。


1.  我都是今年才知道有補考安排，是否為新的制度及其他細節，請家長補充。

2.  8不是神奇號碼，S1留級的比較多，倒是常態。

3.  手機可以帶，但耍關上，否則會被沒收。

From the School Rules about confiscated items, SPC is more or less a well managed school.   Applicants for Prefect must remember the School Rules by heart.

G. Confiscated items

Students in breach of the rule applying to mobile phones will have their telephone confiscated. On the first occasion, the mobile will be returned to the parent/guardian after 5 school days. On the second occasion, the mobile telephone will not be returned to the parent/guardian before the last day of the school year or the last day of classes in the case of F.6 students.

補充少少, 以今年中一升中二的情況: 阿仔話無補考, 只知道學校除咗睇成績外, 都睇埋操行. 開會後決定有8名留級, 每班都有至少1個.

講開Prefect, 請問係由老師挑選亦或由學生申請？通常係由幾年級的學生擔當？

S3年級都可以申請，由 Prefect Council 負責見申請同學，會有老師在場，但好像不會發問。S6班3月離開後，會再開申請補足人數。全校有近60個 prefect .


Prefect Council 學長會基本由學生管理，最近兩年都有邀請前 Head Prefects 回來給不同年級做分享，包括記者、天文台台長、醫科敎授和法官。

真係多謝Hogwarts n Jackieson的回覆。
其實我都係 "從錯誤中學習」與兒子成長。
從前，只會last mins才去follow呀仔的事情，於是成日催佢，令到他feel stress.後來發現小兒是要將new information 慢慢消化，然後他自己找出方法。所以，現在我學精了，儘量早準備，然後大家慢慢傾，減少親子緊張

Dear parents of 2013-14 S1 students,

Well said by Chowwy, the greatest change and challenge in relationship with my boy in his secondary school years is how to manage the smooth transition from son to buddy.  It is still works in progress in the case of our family.

I would suggest that in SPC, S1 should be the year for the boys to explore what the school can offer, making new friends and tasting new activities.   When boys can reasonably keep up with academic works, please allow them to take up as many ECAs as possible, especially those can train up discipline, responsibility and curiosity.  Also, a busy boy means less time to play computer game.


There are so many things, the school and fellow students (clubs are run by students with minimal guidance from teachers) can offer.   To name a few my son and his friends had involved back in their years in S1, bridge, chinese history, house official, choir, sport teams, uniform groups, community serves and last but not least the Christian Union.  To be honest, I sometime feel jealous of my son's diversified school life.  So, please don't be intimidated by the magic number 8 of repeating, and encourage the boys to have an energetic S1.

要做到buddy, 即係要有共同話題共同嗜好, 既有有益身心的打波游水睇書外, 仲有弊多於利的--打機!! 可以一齊研究點過關. 咁就可以保持溝通, 做到buddy!!

但對於打機真係投晒降又好無奈, 叫成班男仔唔打機機乎無可能, 因為呢個係佢地同學之間既共同話題共同嗜好. 阿仔都直言有d遊戲真係好無聊, 但身邊好多同學都玩. 朋輩的影響真係大, 同學仔講一句好過我地講十句...

所以好認同hogwarts講, 鼓勵佢地參與多d ECA, 學習紀律性服從性等, 也希望可以訓練出自律從而有自信與自學啦. 睇情況, 最好由低form中一開始, 中一好少功課, 但注意有好多測默. 總之消耗佢地多d精力, 希望少d打機啦!

打機是中學生主修科，也許是學校英語環境還可以，打機隊友可以有英語人。
