As far as I know, some of the KV pupils were accepted and some were not.  

Regarding the P.1 life, the school doesn't give much homework, at least lesser than that I expected.

But the pace in teaching is quite fast, as hot1234 said, the 1st term almost finished one subject book.  Also the academic syllabus is really higher than the same P.1 or even the same w/ those P.2, P.3 from general schools.

Regarding the Interview, do not give much pressure to your kid, just ask him/her to answer as much and as precise as possible. Take it easy, if accept, then congratulate you. But if fail, may be the school is not suitable. Nothing wrong with children.

For parents who wants to be in SFA, you must be sure that your child can afford the amount of time to be put into homework, dictation & practices. Positively speaking, it's very dynamic and really get the child involved into the daily work as long as they like it. If not, it may create a big pressure for both child and parents. I'm so lucky that my son is quite attentive in class, pro-active and love to use computer frequently for e-homework and the i-mails, and that's why he enjoys the school very much. Otherwise, I can imagine it will create much work to parents.

I checked that there's maths assessment on 27/10.  But Ms. Tam didn't mention through handbook, nor give us the content of assessment.

I wonder will there be on schedule....

According to the last notice, Maths. test in English is only assessment 4 and 7.

對於一些喜歡做卷、寫字和閱讀的小朋友來說，是不難的，至緊要是小朋友真的對這方面興趣大和有一點天份，因為他們小朋友筆試(口試反而是次要)，仲要坐定定做6-8版紙，有 listening (聽帶答問題），所以如果你的仔女不屬於這類型的話，是很難勉強的，就算僥倖入到，以後讀落都會很辛苦（無論大人或細路）。

我的兒子不是從响噹噹的幼稚園來的，但因本人很著重在家中額外補充教學，如另外教授中英生字、寫作，數學等，故小兒今年入小一都尚算可以（暫時來說，以後就要看他自己）；由於課程上追得上，所以他很容易適應和投入。但對於一個六歲半的小朋友來說，我也覺得功課太多，每天有六至七樣，仲要溫書和默書，間中又要上網做e-homework；我個仔無投訴功課多，反而他幾enjoy，尤其是上網ｄ野，佢仲好緊張做”每日一篇”添！
