Your child is a girl or boy?

I called the school and asked will they provide a Cd player etc for the talent show.  they said NO, they don't have anything and you have to prepare everything you need for the show.

I think even just a song, your child should give it a go because I'm sure the school will appreciate the child's courage.  Perhaps an English rhyme is a good option too.

Let's take the vice principal advice, let sleep early tonight and have a nice chat with the child tonight! I think children are so unpredictable.

I bought the 2007 荷花入學精選, Ms Din was representing her old school to tell the parents what will be in the interview which was very much of what Ms Chan said in the seminar.  There will be different toys, books and art supply for children to play in the first session.  Then they will see if they can follow teacher's instruction.  The teacher might ask them to draw something or to describe it or talk about daily lives.  I guess it will be very similar tomorrow.

不是. 從2007-08p.1開始, 浸幼學生也要考小一入學試. 但會加8分(兄弟, 教職員子弟加5分). 小一至中六一條龍. 學費$35000一年, 可去web site看details.

How did your son do in the interview?  

I guess I should not tell all the details in the interview here as it might not be fair for the children who took it already.

For those who are interested, basically there will be a task which all children do it together in a group.  Then they need to draw a picture and bring it to another room for individual interview.  Teacher will ask them to describe it and there are some IQ questions for them to answer in English. (however, when my son told me the question, i don't think it's an IQ question at all).  children will stay behind for the talent show, if you don't perform, the interview is finished.

Well, children looked happy there and I only saw a girl crying there.  My son said it was fun and enjoyed it.  He said he liked the school too and enjoyed riding the Ma On Shan railway with me.

Hope this can release parents' pressure.  Details above might not be 100%correct because it's told by my son!

I found the following works is still processing:

1) Bamboo scaffolding is still ereted at secondary school,
2) Some workers are constructing the planters primary school,
3) The construction of basketball court is incompleted,
4) Some finishing works at the ground floor is in progress, the class rooms at the upper floors are seems to be completed.
5) Air conditioning is in operation for the interveiw room and waiting theater,
6) The whole form and shape of the building is very nice, white and orange external wall painting, good design.
