Ka Ka cried because my husband was duty off today and he went to botanical garden  meeting her suddenly. He became a volunteer to care of the children. At the end of the trip, my husband left , she missed him .She always like that when we go to visit her.

Thanks a lot. I know local maid can face to face interview. But. I cannot give her  duty off on Sunday and have to take care of two kids. Many maids do not match my reqirement. But if u have any good agents, Would u mind giving me more details? I try to find.

I also asked Davin why Ka Ka cried.  He told me that her daddy left & she was sad.  At the moment, I just wondered what he talked about.  Now I know.

I also guess that they did not have snack time.  That's why my mom said Davin had 3 bowls of macaroni & drank a lot of water.  When he returned to my mom's home after visit to the zoo, he said he was tired.

Dear All

I talked to the mother of Mizuki & she said that some kid slept in the school bus during the trip back to school.  I was a bit worried once I heard about this, but then I thought might be the teachers or teaching asst would hold them if they were to sleep.  Hope so !!  Anyway, they were all back safe & fit.  A good experience for them.

Preston rarely sleep on bus coz he likes to ride the bus and he concentrated so hard the view outside. I remembered when we went to picnic, almost everyone fell asleep on the way back (I slept too). But Preston was wide awake the whole time and looking at the window.

Next week will be last week of K1!

Yes, time really flies.  A bit sad because Miss Cheng was so good.

Anyway, hope they enjoyed the rest of the schooling period & had a nice short summer holiday.

I also want to know who will be the Chinese teacher of K2B next year.  Brian understands that he will be promoted after summer holidays and he always says he will miss Miss Cheng.

As for the summer courses, Brian didn't want to learn piano so I didn't apply for him.

I think most of the parents & kids will miss Miss Cheng.

So, no special summer course for Brian ?  It's good as you can be taking care of him on a 'full-time' basis during summer holiday.

I do hope Miss Cheng will teach K2B.
For Preston, all summer courses have been confirmed. He'll join Heep Hong daycamp next week. Then a couple days off and then Ocean Park half-day camp for 3 days. Then the last week I'm off, so maybe Disneyland or other places. Should be a balanced summer holiday.
ljsze, you know what, I heard from Ching Ching mom said Lh summer course will be going to Ocean Park on 3/8, that's exactly the day Preston will go too, from 9-1pm. So maybe the kids will meet each other there. Hope the weather is nice.

Actually I'm already thinking of some plan for next summer. A bit too early but need to get info for better planning.
Davin has a busy summer too, summer course and then the trip. Is he excited about the trip? I usually give Preston some info or pictures of that place so he is well prepared. It's nice to get away with the whole family.

I talked to Miss Cheng this morning.  She told me that Miss Lai and Mr. Shawn will be the class teachers of K2B next year.  ljsze, was Miss Lai the class teacher of Davin in PN class?

Actually, as I've mentioned that I don't like long holiday.  That's why I try to plan more activities for Davin during holiday.

When Davin knows that we will be taking a flight & go for sun & beach, he's excited.  He likes to go for a trip out of town anyway.  And, I do look forward to it.  Though I don't swim & I have to protect myself against UV, I do enjoy the resort feeling.

Will you be going to the book fair ?  I may need your comment to decide whether I should go or not.  You know it's really crowded.

Thanks for your update.  Miss Lai teached another PN class but I know she was kind (not sure if she is as good or better than Miss Cheng).  Good to have Mr. Shawn as their teacher.

I'll go to the book fair probably on Sat. It's not too crowded if you only to the child section. I guess I'll buy fewer books now coz we always go to the libraby to borrow books.
