Creative Secondary is a DSS charging $4500 per month and they said that they have become the candidate school to run MYP program (type 2 just like Renaissance).  however, Creative allows students to choose continuing MYP/IBD or join local exam at year 10, what if most students choose local system and only a small group choose IB, then will the school be able to provide enough IB courses for them to study?

How about PLK CKY?  I guess they are type 4 as said by EdT (still in planning stage)?

i just use a few search engines such as yahoo; or sohu and get many information as IB is quite popular in big cities in china,

I will properly apply Creative Secondary for my kid few years later. (Creative is the type of school I like, but together with school bus fee, Creative Primary is too expensive for me).

CKY would be type 2, and her secondary school starts this year.

Yes, I believe so.  CKY now prepare students to join ICGSE exam at F.5, then IBD later.  So it is not an IB candidate school yet.

Victoria Primary has already got its IB qualification. It just charge  around $4,800.00. You can consider it.

Whilst the IBO's website provides some useful information, it is not always up-to-date (seems that IBO only updates its website every few months).  For an example, ISF is now a DP and MYP candidate school but there is no mention of it in IBO's website.

candidate school? that means they are in the process of getting certified? it would take a few years.

victoria went through the process, i thought it took them two years.

It is true that Shanghai Victoria has gone through the process.
I heard that ISF is expecting full accreditation in 07/08 school year.

Yes, they already gone through the process. i remembered reading this news on paper a few years ago.

I don't think CKY is running PYP.  They are planning to use IB Diploma in future.

如無記錯,CKY校方好似無講過會搞PYP同MYP。

PYP, MYP 同IB DP有很大不同, 係無乜實際大用 (「實際」係指用PYP,MYP成績轉校,如考入揷班中小名校等。名校多自設筆試。), 但IB DP就吾同, DP分數就等同大部分國家公開試高考成績, 可以直接報大學。
