St Paul Interview notice

Dear all,
SPC英文應該比其他學校深, 小一初期已是學full sentence答題目, 經過第一次測驗及評估, 3班學生分為紅, 綠, 黃, 紫4組按不同程度上英文課.
至於St Paul College 成績不太好, 原因有多方面, 主要是以前收生沒有自主權, 派來的學生素質下降, 這是SPC轉直資主要原因, 另外成績好的學生往往在F.4, F.5已離港到外國升學(家境不錯嘛!), 我們要看3年後第一批直資生會考成績才能知道改制後效果, 好像今年9月, 跑馬地區寶血小學全級第一及第三名學生都入了SPC, 他們都是很醒學生, 原來也有很大機會入QC, 但都寧願選SPC, 所以對未來幾年成績應該會有一定信心.

Yes.  That is what I heard at the SPC briefing last evening.


But even if you don't receive a call on Mon, don't be frustrusted, you still got a chance, but may be as late as July when everything is finally confirmed.

I rec'd the "acceptance" call from SPC today. However, I'm still thinking SPC or Stanley St Stephen, I like both school very much.Can any BK parents give me some advice?

get up early in the morning tomorrow and wait at school bus station at 7:00am  to talk to parents of both schools. very much depends on your child and family finance.

Travel distance and safety will be one of my considerations. The road leading to Stanley is quite narrow with sharp turnings. I will be a bit worry, particularly when they are so young. I don’t think they will sit properly in the school bus. Yet, 12 years is not a short period of time.

Thanks for your kindly advice. I like Stanley St Stephen since their teaching medium is all English & Mandarin, school environment is good & strong foucs on music & sport. Also, Compulsory boarding life at P.6 wiil also be a very good experience for a children learn to be independent. Of course, travel distance & expensive school fee are also the main concern. Besides that I calculated the school fee/bus/lunch are all "double" compared with SPC.
