Make sure you prepare a working schedule and house rules and explain to your new maid when she comes. It's very important to build your authority in the beginning.

You can buy a larger size and wear it again the next summer. We're all boy s here so no girls uniform for you.
I have no idea about Victioria the teaching method, so no comments.
If the kids are foreigners or Japanese, then they will communicate in English.

The school have not informed when they will visit the zoo again.  Have you heard from the teachers directly ?

If you want the kids to speak English at school, maybe you have to choose international school instead. My son can speak fluent English and Chinese and change channels without any problem. I guess you also need to provide an englsih environment at home as well. Anyway, just my personal comments.

Miss Cheng called me just now & I asked her about visit to the zoo.  She said they would definitely go again but had to make sure that the weather was fine that week.  So, it will not be tmr.  Maybe next week she said.

The kids asked Miss Jill about the visit to the zoo & she said they had to check with the principal.  Then some kids including Preston & Davin did go to ask the principal when they could go in English (they thought they had to speak in English with the principal).  They came back & were happy as the principal said they would go when the weather was fine.  Miss Cheng mentioned that somehow the kids would solve the problem by themselves.  Good progress.

I forgot to get Davin one thing for show & tell & I know he would be sad.  Fortunately, Miss Cheng gave him something else to talk about.  Btw, it's difficult to think of one thing every week for show & tell as I do want him to share different thing with his classmates.

Brian also told me that the visit to the zoo will be postponed.  It's better to wait a little longer until the weather is fine.  

It's a good idea to let the kids solve the problem themselves.  They have to learn it.

Miss Cheng called me today and told me they haven't decided when to go to the zoo yet. She also told me that some kids did not know how to ask the Principal in English and Preston stepped up and taught them how to ask in English and  said they could take 103 bus there as well. Miss Cheng said Preston is shy  to read aloud in front of the class but in some situations, he will speak up. I just asked him about this and he said Davin, Kayla, Wingwing and himself went together to ask the Principal. It's very good that they learn to solve problems by themselves and work together in a team.

For 'show and tell', I would let Preston choose whatever he likes to bring. I tried to pick for him and then found out that he did not want to show it. He has his own idea what to bring and doesn't like me to decide for him. Whatever I chose, he said something else.
