I learnt that quite some kids go to full-day school next year and there will be 2 full-day classes of K2.

Yes, as far as I know, Preston, Chun Hei, Suet Ching will all go to full-day class next year. Actually Preston is looking forward to full-day class. Ching ching's mom told me that there will be over 50 students for full-day class (I guess for the whole school but still quite a lot. Glad I applied early, otherwise there might not be any space left.

You may be expecting someone may call you for a vacuum cleaner demo. Thsi time is a different one form Turkey (much cheaper). You can take a look and get a free cleaning, otherwise, just ignore him.

You name is quite funny! It's a bilingual nursery and kindergarten. There are 1 foreign and 1 local teachers in each class. For K1 and up, you can choose Mandarin and English class or Cantonese and English class (still have 2 lessons of Mandarin/ week). There is 1-2 pages of simple homework starting the second semester of K1. For details, you can check on the website:

I've hired a domestic helper finally.  Her previous contract has just finished last Friday and the new visa will be ready in Mid July.  Do you know if she can leave HK before she gets the new visa?  I just wonder if I can let her go back to Phillipines during this period.

There's a chance that the kids may not be going to Botanical Garden if it rains tomorrow.  If so, the kids will be disappointed.  Davin is excited about the visit.

The weather is so unstable today.  The forecast for tomorrow is rainy with thunderstorms.  I told Brian that if he can't go to Botanical Garden due to the rain, I will bring him there some time later.

The domestic helper will start working with my family in Mid July.  This is a new 'challenge' to my family, esp. to my Dad and Mom.  I hope everything's alright.

Good for you. It's a really new experience for the whole family. What's the background of the maid? Where did you hire her? She can go back to Phillippines after getting her new visa. Ask the agent to clarify.

The maid has been working in HK for 2 years.  I talked to her previous employer and the comment on her is good.  She has three sons of her own but she didn't have experience in taking care of small kids in HK (Her previous employer has two sons with age 11 and 13).  She is very nice and polite and I think Brian and my parents will like her.

I hired her from the agent you introduced (the one in Whampoa)

The background of your new maid seems pretty good, how old it she? It's good she is married and has children, then she will care about her job and do better. I'm worried about my maid that she may get married next year after the contract ends, hope she can renew one more contract.

It's 9.15am now.  The weather is really bad.  I guess the visit to Botanical Garden will be cancelled.  :(  Brian was so excited last night.  When I prepared the mosquito repelling stickers for him, he said he will give one sticker to every classmate.

My maid is now 31.  You know what.  Her eldest son is already 11!  
She has a ticket for the trip back to the Phillipines (provided by her previous employer) but will be expired soon.  She asked if I can let her go back in July or August.  When I said I can let her go back for a week, she asked for 2 weeks.  I let her choose:  one week if she goes this year or two weeks next summer.  She chose to go back next summer.
