From another thread, a TSL parent, his/her elder son is studying in TSL, has given up TSL for the younger son, and registered another school. The parent said the TSL is only good in English, but the chinese and maths are not good enough. The teachers are also as kind as what others said.

Does any TSL parent have comments on these issues or disagree?

To me, "good in English" is a good enough and the best reason to send my son to TSL. It seems like no other local, inexpensive primary schools are giving the same impression and perhaps even such a "guarantee' to parents.

Thank you for your opinions.

I agree that different parents have different expectation. TSL, for me, is also a good school. Strong English based school is also my 1st priority.

咦...係呢邊又見到你喎....你又係有兩個小朋友呀?

我唸放棄學位既家長係想比每個小朋友各自發展自己既能力 / 為佢地既能力去選不同既學校。如果佢真係唔滿意TSL, 可能都幫大仔轉埋校啦, RIGHT?

TSL中文我唔覺得易, 睇返佢地第一次測驗卷, 我都打個突架。但英文係比其他學校深。數學目前係淺, 因為我見都幾多學校跳左P1上學期唔教, 甚至成個P1都唔教。但我上次有個機會, 比我聽到一個退休校長, 對教學方面好有研究既一個講座。佢話我地成日要小朋友背乘數表, 因為呢樣係乘除數既根本。但就奇怪點解冇家長叫小朋友背下20以內既加減數, 因為呢樣亦都係加減數既根本。

而家小一既小朋友, 就係學緊20以內既加減數。其他人覺得淺, 但我反而覺得打好個底, 溫固知新囉。

我個細女今年考祟真k1，但係考唔到。我只係見到有d不良分子，係道發瘋咁亂吠，立壞心腸，不斷中傷崇真，睇唔過眼gel.

我大仔明年會上p1，而我細女上k1。

我唔係想話TSL唔好，只係發現有位TSL家長對學校的教導有意見，而放棄TSL小一學位，轉讀另一間小學，所以覺得個case好特別，我post上來問下意見gel。希望大家唔好見怪!!!
