Our Singapore and Hong Kong offices are having the Year End Party/Dinner today.  The dress code for the Singapore offices are casual beach wear while the theme colors of orange and black for Hong Kong offices at the Hotel.

我個工人係2/12放假後無返屋企(佢竟然"走佬", 仲要係衫同日用品都無攞走)! 平時星期日佢八點幾就返屋企, 點知嗰日十點幾都未返, 我地好擔心佢有意外, 但打佢手提又無開, 於是send個短訊俾佢, 約十一點佢覆我, 話佢返左菲律賓, 仲話明天打俾我解釋! 我同老公即刻呆左, 唔係呀.......... 依家點算! (1/12嗰晚佢問我借左1個月糧, 佢話家姐病左! 我見佢對我兩個仔都幾好, 佢係我請咁多個工人之中最好)! 第二日等兩個仔返左學, 換埋鎖, 之後去警局報案, 夜晚又要去 agent度申請另一位工人(最好笑係第一位工人竟然同agent講話湊唔掂3個, 所以唔做喎! 我以為係香港完約嘅工人會揀工, 點知oversea新請嗰啲工人都會揀)! 依家請左另一個, 希望入境處快啲批到個visa啦! 下午終於收到個工人message, 佢話佢朋友攞左佢啲文件去左兩間銀行借錢(我估係叫佢做擔保), 但是佢朋友依家去左加拿大, 佢唔走唔得........之前都一早叫佢唔信啲菲律賓人啦........ 仲有兩個月bb出世, 依家都係老公放假睇住啲仔, 但是佢放完假後點算.........呢幾日好多人找個工人, 仲有財務公司打o黎(原來佢11月已經借左錢)!  都唔知係咪佢自己借完錢"走佬"! 啲 bun bun講嘅野無句真呀!

未睇完你個case, 我仲估你個bun bun著草去canada, 果邊咁好pay.  點知佢原來真係爭人$$$.
你唔好咁 住, 對bb唔好, 不好試下問家務通, 揾個家務助理先, 咁係新工人黎之前都有個人幫輕下先ma.

That's really a headache for you.  Try to control the temper as you are pregnant.

As you have hired a new maid and waiting for the visa, the missing maid plus pregnancy could put you in the highest priority to get the visa approved, you should write a letter and specify the urgency and present it to the Immigration Dept in Wanchai on 7/F, this could shorten the processing time, heard that it could be less than 4 weeks time.

For the interim period, ask your agent to help you, since they have rec'd the service charge and should be responsible to find you a "ready" maid.

I have a similar case and you could pm to me.

我於上月尾又要找工人, 因我家工人會到Canada工作, 她只是向我resign, 沒有告訴實情.  找工人真煩, 一齊努力加油. 我工人做了四年有多, 都唔坦白. 唉!

bun bun去 canada, 詳情我唔知, 但聽聞好似話有成HK$15,000/month, 又可以攪居留權, 所以佢地寧願賠$$$都要走......:tongue:

唉......無左工人幫手, 真係做到無停手!
今朝仲要唔知醒叫阿二返學, 最後要坐的士送完佢返學, 之後先返工!
老公打過去家務通問, 佢話要找日日來幫手的並不容易(可能佢地有啲job做開, 唔得閒o黎)!
之前我去bk論盡家傭嗰度睇, 唉......原來好多人投訴啲bun bun, 不過我又唔想請印印!
依家唯有叫agent盡快幫我攪啦! 本來我都諗住打去入境處問, 但agent話啲文件要先去菲律賓領事館, 等份contract批出, 之後先再去入境處,  等批出個VCN NO. 後, 就可以寫封加快信俾入境處, 希望佢地可以盡快批出visa! 睇怕都要等多一個月時間!

Hard and tough time will not be long.  And I guess this sudden change will speed up the mature process for the boys too as they are seriously affected by the run-away maid.  Look at the good side from the bad incident.

I have a chat with my agency.  

The recruitment of overseas maid will do it in a parallel way. Remember you have signed 4 original of the "green" employment contracts.  Some contracts will send to the Philippines Embassy to process while the rest of the employment contracts will send it to the Immigration in Hong Kong.

This is the Hong Kong side take the lead of the whole process.  It will take about 2-3 weeks to issue the "white" card with the VCA number.  Once that has been issued, inform to the Philippines Embassy to further proceed of the documents.  If you would like to shorten this 2-3 weeks processing time, you can draft the "Early release of the Domestic Helper" and you (as to shown your pregnancy) present to the Immigration and will get the first class priority of process.  The whole process to recruit the overseas maid will then less than 4 weeks' time.

之前我個agent都提過我個case, 最快可以一個月批到visa, 佢話衹要有醫生信證明我嘅預產期, 再加封"加快信"(以我依家嘅情況好急需等人用), 入境處應該好快批出visa!
呢段時間唯有叫其他人幫手(暫時呢個星期就叫老公放假照顧兩個仔, 之後兩個星期就叫補習老師同埋啲親戚幫手)!



P.S. 希望呢段時間唔會再有其他事發生!
       因為之前申請左個工人, 佢竟然話湊唔掂
         3 位小朋友唔o黎, 最後要再揀另一位工
         人, 白白又浪費了幾日時間!

麟媽媽,
Justin got 2 prizes for 4 of his tests in Nov!  I honestly didn't expect anything.  I even thought his results were average or below.  What makes me happy is we didn't really study very hard, just an afternoon on Sunday before each test.  Should his mum (me) be more demanding, he could have done better Thought of sharing my joy with you!
