Good job!! Well done on your research in the IBO website!!
You have my echo here!! Extended essay is considered the most demanding requirement to be achieved in the IBD. You need to have plenty of ingredients ready and relevant preparation work before you cook. This is what I long for - - see my child gradually trained towards the final goal. Through the process, she will discover the joy of learning, be motivated and acquire the skills to reinforce lifelong inquisitiveness of unveiling the unknown. Besides extended essay, contribution to community service is equally important. Through this training, our kids will see the urge to help the needy ones, develop a sense of responsibility towards the society, learn to appreciate the value of life, show respect for others of the same /different culture, learn to treasure the environment and the earth, etc...and many more. Be sure to login to the PA forum to keep abreast of our school's application process on this.

For the SKCC, I suggest you call SKCC or send an email to the Music Director, Ms. Elizabeth first, to make sure your kid may join the class on that day.  I do think they have room.  KenBaBa again.  Your son is a new comer to the SKCC.  How did he join it?
