My son got the place for P2 this academic year.  Would you pls advise how could I order the SPI school bag, leather and sport shoes with Ying Wa logo? How much are they? And how to order school bus and lunch for my son?  I don't want to wait until the meeting on 27/8/2004, since I want to prepare early.

Ying Wa is a boy school. Since the allocation is a lucky draw so it doesn't related to which kindergarten.Anyway, you may try.

Welcome to this topic! & congratulations! Your boy is so smart to get admission to P2.

Purchase of SPI schoolbags & leather/sport shoes with Ying Wa logo via school office is over. You can wait for another round hopefully in next few months.SPI schoolbag costs $280-320 (depending on the size & style). Perhaps you can call SPI Co.at 2708 2078 & see whether they still have any stock. The shoes cost around $100.

For school bus, you can call Mr Tang at 2381 9509.

I suppose the lunch ordering forms will be available at the coming parents meetings. No need to worry la as we all here haven't got the forms yet!

From hearsay info--- boys from English kindergartens such as Kentville, St Catherine, Keenmind & PLK Au Yeung Siu Fong etc. have certain extent of advantages in the 3 rd round P1 admission.

If your son is in P1-2, better not.  The break time is not long, they have lots of things to do such as go to toilet, drink water, have some snacks, write the homework handbook, socialize with classmates and teachers.  So should not spend time in queueing and buying food.  

I always put $10 in my son's school bag for just in case.  I asked him not to go to the tuck shop so he has never used it (in YW).

Also put a ball pen with multiple colors and a ruler. I also put a pair of scissors for him to cut the snack package.

係呀，忙到Bk 都少上。老細放假，我要handle 埋佢o的野，下星期到我放假，又要清哂o的野，所以好忙好忙。不過，現在很開心，放大徦呀嗎，雖然要做埋賓賓個份。

I wrote two letters together with my son's resume and academic report in April and early July this year.  We happily received the invitation for written test and then interview, and then registration.

Pls see my previous reply to janet7903. Actually Ying Wa is a gov't subsidized school and its P1 entry mechanism is based on "points system" and lucky draw. But some prestigious English kindergartens' students do have certain merits in the 3rd round admission via interviews.
