Hv your sons bought tooth brush, tooth paste and cup to school yet?  Nicole brings them today as Mrs Surtani asked her to do so.  As she remember to bring so she got one candy.  They went to toilet to brush the teeth today after snack time.  Maybe the teacher teach about brushing teeth this week.

Yetta hasn't told me about Ms.Brown.Is it related to  'brown colour' that they learnt from school this week? Or related to some english story that they heard from their teacher?

I asked Yetta what she need to bring to school last night .Her answer was 'square'. I thought that she was wrong but we still put a square toy in her school bag . It's so funny that she brought it back from school today and my maid asked her, 'Why did you bring back your toy?' She smiled and said, 'It's wrong.' I'm glad that she's learnt from 'trial and error'. So,all moms,if your kids ask you for anything in the future,please give them.Because their teacher will tell them it's correct or not.

When I checked my girl's school bag yesterday, I found three story books there.  Upon my request, she told me that she had to bring them to school.  Although I can't figure out what topic these books are for, the books are kept by the teacher.  It's anyway a good training for the kids who will learn to be more concentrate at school.

My BB will enter K1 next year and now I wait for the result of SC after the interview on 13.11.04.  

I want to know the misc fee whether very high.   Except tuition and school bus fee, any other fee should be paid.

Of course you have to pay for the books.  There is no other misc fee, but you have to prepare the snacks for your child everyday.

Dear All St. Catherine's 2004 K1 Moms,

May I ask you: when did you receive the result after K1 interview in last year?  Do we need to wait till Christmas?  I'm very worry about my son's result.  Kindly advise!

We just enroll this kinder in Kln Tong because it is the best.

I agree with Yetta-mama.  Even though my son draw circle/line/all irregular things on the homework book.  My teache gave the comment 'GOOD TRY'  I quite appreciate this positive motivation.

Seeing Golf message, this reminds me of my daughter's homework.  My daughter always draw like 'a snake'.  You can hardly say it is a straight line. I requested her to draw again and again.  Most of the time, both of us get angry after a few try.  She's tough and not willing to let me hold her hand to write.  Could you share your experience?  Do your kids write well or you just accept what they have done? Thanks for any advise.

I seldom erase my girl's homework coz I know that it's difficult for her to draw/write very well in this stage.Their 小肌肉is still developing. Actually,my problem is she's drawn by left hand.She's not listening to me and it's difficult for me to teach her. So,I called her class teacher and she promised she will try to teach her written by right hand. I'm glad that Yetta's made a little bit improvement recently.Sometimes,she's willing to draw by her right hand. Fifii,I don't know my standard is OK or not, but try to build up a good relationship and self-confidence of our kids.

I also agree with Yetta-mama!

Sometimes my son draw snakes and I will encourage him to draw another straight line under the snake.  I will not help him to erase it.  If he don't like to draw , I also will not force him.  As my son's class teacher always says, 'Is my standard so high?  He's still small!!!!'

Do U know my son is 好求其, ask him to paint, he just 劃兩三下.  But anyway I am trying to accept this and don't make any comparison!

I remember that your girl's class is different with my son, but is there any chance Ms. Band go into your girl's class.

I remembered that if the teacher is sick leave, they will have another teacher to stay in the class!

I think you are right coz I remember Lamlam-18's girl mentioned about Ms.Brown/Ms Band last week.So,may be Ms.Band went to Yetta's class last week.

I'm glad to hear that Ellie told you many things about her school life, such as bringing rice,rice picture,Ms.Brown.When I asked Yetta questions about her school life,her answer was 'I don't know!'(我唔識講！)都唔知好嬲定好笑！

Ting Ting is the same as Yetta. Whenever I ask her questions about school. 90% of the answer is "I don't know."

Thanks for your comment. Perhaps I have to learn to accept what my girl done.  These days I found that she can really draw a straight line quite well when she wants to draw it. She just don't draw well in her homework.

My girl also won't tell me much about the school.  But these days she suddenly sing a few new songs when she's playing related games, like 'Little driver', 'colber colber'.  I think they learn a lot from school, just that they're not willing to say or they don't have a chance to talk about it.
