最難控制既往往係小朋友既情緒, 佢地唔識係適當既時候休息和培養心情去比賽或者考試. 我記得以前有個老師講過, 佢習慣比學生彈d比賽或考試曲目會係比賽前兩至四星期停止練習(除非唔熟), 到比賽前一星期至攞番出黎練, 等小朋友有d新鮮感, 如果唔係d小朋友練到悶晒就愈練愈差.

希望你同candytl 個小朋友都入到決賽 !
另外大會安排ok 嗎 ? 使唔使等好耐, 因為都好怕小朋友等得耐, 影響情緒

The other 3 candidates of my group played OK (usual standard for taking exams) but not really 'pro' and there were two absentees.  We almost became the third absentee as my daugther played terribly the night before.  But on the morning of the competition, she suddenly turned normal and so we attended the competition.  She made some mistakes but seemed still satisfied with her own performance.  Anyway, no high hope on the outcome.  Yet I am amazed that she has confidence in herself.        She even commented that I was too nervous and told me that she enjoyed the competition.      [/quote]

我囡囡果日彈到第三首佢話錯左一個音, 佢無睇譜, 佢自己就無咩信心喎, 我已經滿意 , 因為佢在家彈時錯得多D.
我覺得比賽時小朋友的心情和狀態係關鍵.

我覺得大會安排都OK, 因為只係初賽, 一個ROOM 按一小時安排7-8位小朋友, 彈完可以走先. 如果好似校際, 小朋友要等幾十人就好累了 !!

Hi Winky 媽媽,

I agree that the arrangment of Tom Lee is good.  There were two professional judges and they only had to listen to six competitors in an hour.  The competitors went in by themselves and parents could still hear their performance outside.  My group finished in 30 minutes as there were two absentees and some candidates only played two songs.  

The most popular song is C3 (Diversion No. 5) as all the candidates chose it.  For class B, two candidates chose B2, one played B5 and my daughter played B6.

Candytl,

Congradulations, I think your girl has advanced to the 2nd round (No. 153 ?).  My girl fails to progress any further.  I guess one of the song she played is really not yet ready and they averaged out the marks of the songs.

My daughter usually practises one hour on a weekday and two hours on the weekend.  How about your daughter ?

Both James and Peter have joined the Mozart competition ?  What are they playing ?  I trust they are preparing well.   We were in a mess when school started in September and really short of practice time.

仲有個同類比賽---2007亞洲鋼琴公開賽，又有皇家琴試分級組別,不過報名費貴好多。

James will join Children Senior and play Mozart's Viennese Sonatina No.2, Rondo and Czerny #25. Peter will join Children Intermediate and play Mozart's Viennese Sonatina No.1, Menuetto and Burgmuller No.14. They aren't preparing well cos the teacher is on maternity leave and we've no lessons for 3 weeks!

What class will Elise join for the coming School Music Festival? I trust she will have good result after well preparation！

HI JP,

She will only play a Grade 4 solo this year.  She is also playing for the choir and percussion band and we want her to have more time to enjoy the school practice.  Sometimes I feel the kids are really busy.

How about James and Peter ?

上左 p3真係好忙, 一星期仲要有三日補課, 準備考學期尾個評核試, 有時睇見佢地咁, 好似無晒d童年生活, 都唔係幾好意思叫囡囡練琴.
