Conditional offer 中的要求應該係final grade 吾係predicted grade? U mean your friend's child got 3A*1A for predicted grade? Or it's the requested final grade from HKU?

想問一般要咩成績for GCSE and predicted grade for GCE, 先可以得到Oxbridge 的interview 機會？一般conditional offer 係幾多A*幾多個A?

My friend's daughter predicted grade is 3A*1A while the conditional offer is also the same, however, they request UMS score to be 560.   Since I have not gone through the scoring system of UMS via A Level under the UCAS system yet, I am not too sure about the equivalent mark for A* & A.
My friend's daughter has also applied for Oxbridge but failed, same as my son

開學啦！係咪今個月要報UCAS?亞囡份personal statement都未搞掂！你哋進展如何？

另外請問non-jupas申請香港嘅大學，中文只有AS成績足夠嗎？亞囡話AS就夠唔洗（其實係佢唔想）考AL，佢又冇考IGCSE，夠唔夠㗎？有冇人知？

In the above case of 3A*1A 入唔到 Oxbridge is probably due to "failing to shine" in other admission criteria, in particular the interview, before conditional offer is given.

Same here.
暑假已出draft UCAS grades，開學冇耐就出正式predicted grades。亞囡draft grades好好，佢希望predicted grades同draft一樣唔好再升，話conditional offer可能要考到同predicted grades一樣！

Interview真係好緊要，學校搞埋面試班，盛惠每位£80!

呀囝學校無額外收費，不過每位報考Oxbridge嘅學生會為他們提供一次mock interview。你囡囡學校收每位£80, provide幾多堂mock interview呀？另外，呀囝份personal statement還欠conclusion， 差不多完成了。

其實係咪越早放reference letter 同personal statement, 就會越早收到condition offer架？

A Level module exams and courseworks are worth a set number of UMS marks. These modules and courseworks for a specific A Level combine to give a total UMS mark. For example, an A level Chemistry course might consist of 4 exams worth 90 UMS and 2 exams worth 120 UMS, totalling a maximum of 600 UMS.

Raw marks awarded in an exam are converted to UMS marks according to the difficulty of the exam paper and the performance of candidates. For example, one year a candidate may only need 62 raw marks to get an A grade (80%), but another year 62 marks may only be equivalent to a B grade (70%). This means that it is possible for candidates to achieve full UMS marks in an exam, even if they didn't receive full marks in the actual exam.

A level UMS boundaries:

•A* at A level requires 80% of available UMS + 90% of available UMS in A2 Modules
•A at A level requires 80% of available UMS
•B at A level requires 70% of available UMS
•C at A level requires 60% of available UMS
•D at A level requires 50% of available UMS
•E at A level requires 40% of available UMS
•U at A level if less than 40% of available UMS

雖然唔一定有得讀，但係想book定機票先。
