KCIS K1, 20 student in a class, with 1 class teacher and 1 assistant, both NET. The class teacher and assistant are full time in a class except the Putonghua session. The class assistant can speak a bit cantonese.

以我個仔係K1班, 我聽到佢地會講英文或廣東話, 要視乎對方講那種語言。例如個班有幾個mixed的同學, 基本上佢地一家會講英文, 如果本地香港人, 就會講廣東話.

由上年9月入學後, 我發覺佢講多咗英文. 我有個朋友個仔以前都係讀KCIS, 由K1到P1 3年時間, 佢已經由最初多數講廣東話到P1時就多數講英文.

本身我都唔係有錢人, 而KCIS都好簡樸. 當然家長中一定會有有錢人, 不過眼見大部份家庭都係中產

My son was studying in KCIS since P.2 from a local kindergarten. He always spoke English in school even the recess time. Now he is already in secondary school. He still communicated with his classmates in English except some new comers.

如果只係係 KCIS 讀 kinder，個人覺得小朋友識既中文較有限。以 ESF Kennedy School 為例，暫時 year 1 & year 2 都只係每星期3堂中文，每堂40 mins，仲要係唱遊形式，與 KCIS 的中文教學相差甚大。

個人覺得如果係 KCIS 完成小學，小朋友的中文程度應該與 local 英小差不多。當然家庭對小朋友的中文 support 亦係關鍵。

其實我都好近 Kennedy School，最初我都覺得 KCIS 好遠，但原來 school bus (special) 都好方便 8:15 上校巴，9:00 前已返到學校

。朋友囡囡讀 Kennedy，佢上校巴時間仲早少少 (8:05)。

其實係kcis讀完primary
轉返去esf難唔難呀 - 我都想知，不過應該唔會易過 apply year 1；不過 secondary 就應該年年都有學生 go to overseas study，vacancy 可能會鬆動啲。

有時"魚與熊掌，不可兼得"。

不過好同意係另一個 post 有家長話，係香港做嘢唔識中文 or 中文唔好，真係好蝕底。
