Ops... we received a call from the school bus nanny 2 days ago and confirmed the pick up time of the Sat is 8:30am at Tiu Keng Leng (the usual pick up point).

I just wonder if we could arrive before 9am. The normal pick up time is 7:10am and the school hour is 8:10am.

I think most of the school buses (different routes) target to arrive at the school around
7:45-7:50 a.m., though all the pupils are requested to arrive at the classrooms not later than 8:10 a.m. when the class period starts.

The school bus company should have reserved some leeway in the travelling time, just in case there might be accidents/congestion on the road sometimes.

looks like they have different people responsible for different districts. just need to wait until they call...hopefully sometime before Sat.
our dear "principal", i hope the school is more efficient in their administration!

I live in Kln City & the normal pick-up time is also 7:10am. Strange. I suppose TKO should be further away from the school than Kln City. When we take school bus this Sat, maybe we can get a clue.

As far as I know, the school bus company is the main co-ordinator for services of different routes.
They may sub-contract different routes to different licensed owners of school bus.
Therefore, the final arrangement for the test drive on coming Saturday has been fixed for certain routes while some others are still finalizing the details.
It may depend on the individual route.

If you are talking about the physical distance, you are correct in saying that Kowloon City is closer to the school than TKO.

However, if Little_Princess' stop is almost the last stop of the route and the school bus will go all the way on the highway to school without too many traffic lights, it's possible to reach the school in about 30 minutes.

But if your stop is one of the first few stops of the route and the school bus needs to stop at many points with dozens of traffic lights, it may even end up with longer time to reach the school than the school bus from TKO.

我唸今次佢地要比埋一個家長坐, 所以條路線會唔同啦。平日小朋友就多d, 停既站先可以咁多掛...我估

Hi 大家好，
小儿是1D法文的。

这里是否有住盈辉台、乐园、华丰园或荔欣苑的家长？刚收到校车路线，pickup point 是荔欣苑C座对面的巴士站。因为在马路对面，要小朋友每天可能还没有睡醒的情况下（上午7点10分）过马路很不放心，而且不是一天两天，要整六年。打过电话给Bus driver希望能将pickup point改在回旋处，但答覆话研究一下。如果有大家有同样顾虑的，也希望打个电话给他们，多一个人说一下应该会好一点。

小女是1D, 日文班

對於校車公司的服務,我真的十分不滿,因為直到現在,它仍未確定上下車地點, 說要在星期六才通知我. 當我質疑他是否應於星期六讓我們試坐,他才說明天會試行路線,所以最快要明晚才可決定上下車時間及地點 ....
封通知信要等到今天才收到已經遲到不可接受,但信中上落車地點只有屋苑名 (我住的屋苑有二十多座),而且時間只是初步決定就更加難接受 ....
之前在這裡都有不少家長投訴這間校車公司 ... 今次終於親身體會到.

Hello, my daughter is in 1E (French). Hope will find other parents from the same class too.

I've just received a call from the bus company that they will call us again regarding the school bus pick up time on Sat.

But I find the bus service is not too bad as they are willing to change the normal pick-up time when they received calls from other parents of our bus that the time was too early, and they also have "short-month" bus fee.
