Talking about La Salle, my friend has 25 points (old boy + religion)and he said the chance is half half.  If for 20 pints, may be the chance is 10% at most.  Unlike 5,6 years ago, the chance for 20 points was a lot higher.

Don't way the chance is getting lower and lower.  From Ming Pao, the chance the get into DBSPD in 05/06 was 1 in 9, but now is 1 in 13.

阿仔果間係荃灣思源小學, 雖然阿仔抽唔到但我都覺學校好好預先寄信比我地唔駛到11/24一早撲到去先知唔收, 因為阿仔有直資學校收左所以我會先去註冊, 咁到6月時再去學校叩門.

呢排我都好緊張,重緊張過自己放榜.一得閒就開信箱,上網check有無消息(雖然明知都係星期一學校先post result)..但個心依然好緊張.. 睇怕星期日晚都好難訓得到...

我就一D都唔緊張, 因為一定....唔...會收, 我得十分....我諗我連去學校睇結果都可以han番....

I think with 25 points is quite safe.

我亞囡得15分, 好多人話我知我幫亞囡報的那間學校, 15分都好有機會.  亞囡的師姐好多都係first round 15分就入到, 所以我滿心祈望.

但見到依個topic個個話15分無望, 我個心真係開始有D慌.  

在過去兩個月, 我都冇將派位的事放上心, 因為生活都好忙. 但早兩晚, 我發了一個夢, 夢見在學校睇結果, notice board的字好模糊, 我點睇都睇唔清楚, 於是會"紮"醒了.  

"紮"醒了後我再訓返, 又再一次發返關於派位結果的夢, 這一次找不到亞囡的名, 真係好失望.

發d咁既夢, 真係人都癲!

Don't be nervous. We're just talking about very hot schools like La Salle, MCS, MSS that's with zero chance.

My friend said there may be 70-80% with 25 points for La Salle.  It is because everybody old boy knows to get the extra 5 points for religion.

You know for those are old boys like La Salle, are so clever that they will get the extra 5 points for religion to secure the space.  It is easier to get the extra 5 points for Catholic than Christian because you can have your kid baptisted easily, like many parents do.....taking advantage of the religion.

I don't think it's easy for Catholics to get their babies/children to baptise easily. Catholics need to be counselled by priest and sisters before the baptism of their children. It is a commitment to raise a Catholic baby in a family. I feel that it's quite rewarding to have the babies baptised as parents need to bring them to Sunday school and mass, it's a bridge between adult Catholics to God. Anyway, it's sort of off from this topic. Just something I want to share with you. Cheers.

20分,好老定,預咗實收,因為今年再加再多班小一,全部20分都一定收晒,雖然話係我個區好多人爭住讀,不過唔係太想讀,因為太谷,太傳統,唔岩我個囡,所以會再叩門,希望六月會有消息,否則都係讀硬 ...
