請各位家人不要再罵戰了, 也不要宣傳小朋友是甚麼名幼稚園, 才能考到甚麼名校, 試想想才幾歲的小朋友, 每天應付學校的功課, 放學後又要學這樣, 學那樣, 甚麼游水, 溜冰, 鋼琴,小提琴,芭蕾琴,繪畫,珠心算,拼音,英文,跆拳,普通話,還有小一入學預備班等等...壓力多大你們做大人的會明白嗎? 還要小朋友學習你們的虛榮感, 多可惜呀!要是在這裡你一言我一語, 倒不如想想帶小朋友到那裡玩,好好輕鬆一下,享受小朋友的童真還好!

But you need to take the risk that Shamshuipo banding is different from Kowloon City's banding.  Simply speaking: Shamshuipo Band 1 is not equal to Kowloon City Band 1.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The standard is different.  
SFA is the highest english standard in HK.
In P1, my kid learnt all past tenses and +ing form. Reading a lot and have english gammer, phonic, listening, oral, general studies which is taught in english and chiness is taught in putonghua. extra: e-homework and project learning.

All kids are very smart and creative.
I just say the training is very good and students are indepandent and mature.   Average marks are very high.  

So far we love the school and they have many extra activities such as swimming ,football, violin, band, french, phonics, putonghua, art, gym......over 30 activities...

In Class teacher lesson, they can learn many extra knoledges or IQ quiz.  My son is very happy in school everyday.
I dont care about the school net, they have good english foundation and self contral is more important.  I think they can handle easier in the interview and exam.

3 test plus 3 exam each year.
Many story writing training  every week

My son got twice a week for football training, violin,ice-skating and swimming once a week , do not spend much time on HW after playing piano . He has 1-2 hours playing  and reading everyday.  

Dictation: full sentances or grammer studies

I dont need to spend much time on him.  He writes down his new words and stick on his bed.  He study himself everday.  Love to get 100 marks all the time.  Join many completition games at school everyday such as reading, elder students are telling stories everyday.  

During few month, he learnt a lot.  School fee is valuable.
You may get back a lot.

多謝妳既分享,令我更有信心俾囡囡出年入SFA,原本我想囡囡入另一間一條龍既小學,但我老公話唔想埋沒左阿囡其他既機會,所以一直都係15/16,而家心中已經有左決定

其實每個mami都會讚自己小朋友讀緊嗰間小學.
唔好,就唔會讀6年.

學術成就,都要睇返嗰界啲小朋友質數同家長投放幾多資源($ & time)落小朋友道.

KTS 英文讀高一年, 好多私小都會係咁
我睇唔到有乜邊間出到啲實質成就話自己小學英文好超班

小兒讀KTS , 中文係用普通話教, GS 用英文，數高半年(一樣有英數). 英文再補worksheet cover Tenses 同其它. 再有普通話 視藝 德育 體育 phonic 及  Oral 科, 一樣有外籍老師.....週會 早操 學生領袖等....每學科一樣會有佢哋嘅專科學會....無乜好大特別. 最緊要學生鍾意 有學到嘢


科外活動, 我唔清楚SFA 點計
但, KTS 有部份都要收錢, 當然, 有部份係唔洗收
我諗唔到有乜邊樣...KTS 係無........逢週五係全校課外活動堂
週一至週四再有其他
要運動出色, 學校&家長都有因數關係.
因為小朋友學到一定程度,都要私鍾進補
音樂亦一樣!

我唔用校內分數去衡量小朋友學校程度
如果有公開試去睇,會好啲同公道一啲.

KTS 兩測兩考. 不必每週死背中英默.
一樣好似kinder 咁有outing.

工課時間長短, 與學校慣係唔係真係大得咁緊要
好睇小朋友嘅速道, 以我小朋有嚟講,
佢一般係用少於一個小時去完成.其他時間都係學嘢多
但....有些小朋友要2小時有多......咁好難論工課時間長短
又例如, 改正默書 改正作業
講就叫兩樣 ，無錯要改...有何來兩樣工課呢?

當然 我揀得KTS 我都係對佢有信心
and 我睇佢中學校網好 亦係重要因素

SFA 比較特別是收資優生多

Although KTS is easier than SFA, I hope to try SFA first and let him having the hardest training.

It's real hard in SFA but their gammer and english are so good.

So far , he can handle all well and like the school very much.

If you success the interview or passed, dont worry and your kids can do all subjects well.  

P1 english level = P.3 or P.4 International school standard
We are planning to study in UK, so he need to have that training in this few year.  Also we hope he can make some chinese classmates and talk /learn more chinese.

Now , he can read mamy stories and learn many tenses and use of english.

Parents also can study with their kids too. He create some Playrole games on each subjects.

I really want to know how can you make this conclusion, since your son has been studying in this school for several months?

According to your previous messages from other forums in BK, your over-boast comments on your son as well as the school  scared me.

How do you think about the English standard of other schools in Hong Kong, such as DBS, DGS.....?
