Dear all , 24/10,有冇家長會陪埋D子女一齊去"粉嶺綠田園"親子呢?果日係平時,一定要請假先去得,但我為左女兒,無所謂拉....你地又點呀,係咪會一齊親子呢?.....   但唔同班會唔同地方,到時未必見到大家.....

Hi, KenBaBa,

I think Miss Tse's singing is good. The morning assembly is unique. The kids are all enjoying it. It's fun to watch them singing and doing exercise. By the way, are you also there this morning?

For the picnic next week, only my husband can join the kids. They are going to 宣道園. However, in fact, my girl just went there last year--she was K.3 and in the kintergarten. Where is your kid going.

As for the PA web, I am still waiting for the confirmation. I understand that it may take some time as there should be quite a number of new applcation to handle with. I will go to the PA forum as soon as I get the confirmation.

By the way, don't forget to attend the PA meeting tomorrow and vote. However, I don't know whom to vote for yet.

I have applied V/L dated 24 Oct and will go with my kid for 大埔洞梓童軍中心。I'll bring along with fishing rods and kits and may stay behind to fish at a fishing pond at 洞梓 as the picnicking will end as early as by 1400 hrs and we had fished many times there before. I think it would be allowable for us to disband there but not to take the original coach back for the school .... I think .... ! :

I've decided to vote for all except one to whom I have a little bit reservation.  However, I think .... again .... I think the candidates will introduce themselves and advocate their own policy and suggestion and then we can decide very carefully and deliberately.  May be that one will also win my vote ....        !!

How come this year we didn't get a publication about the applicants in which they introduced themselves? The arrangement was good because we had some time to understand each applicant before we made the votes. Also, it gave us more time to consider. Thanks.

Firstly, I am just a new parent of Logo Academy. I share with my personal experience only.

So far, my child and I like this school so much. There has not so much homework(mechnical and boring type). But I just to remind you that-- Could you spend much times(on reading/sharing his school life/the interactive assignment or activities…) with your child after school?

If you want to well prepared for the interview, I suggest that you read thoroughly the official website of the school and have a good sleep. Don't put too much pressure for your child and yours.

The questions you listed are quite formal. It is just a sharing and discussion within the interview. You only have a clear mind, well known of the philosophy of the school and strong enthusiastic to the school. Don't forget, reading is an important part for the student of Logos Academy.

Hi, tinatam,

My Kid is in FS1 and we had attended last year's interview. During most part of the interview, actually the kid was placed in a seperate table and was given some paper and color pencil. Principal Yau would talk with the parent and see whether they were suitable for the school. I had sent the profile with the application and that profile was on the principal's table during the interview. Throughout our conversation, Principal Yau would observe the kid. Therefore, it will be better if the kid will show the patient and concerntrate on the drawing.

Afterwards, Principal Yau called my kid to him and just asked whether she drew all the pictures in the profileand what she had drawn during the time we talked. And then, no more other question.

Actually, there is one thing you must make sure before the interview. That is, whether you agree with the theme and methodology of the school and whether you will be willing to work together with the school. If you have no dobut in this question, just show Principal Yau your attitude.

Hi Mummy2000,

I had the similar experience, but the performance of my child made me so excited   that I could never forget.  

In the first part of the interview, my child could concentrated on his drawing.  

After 5 minutes, he began to play with the color that made some noise to our conversation with principal Yau. :evil:

And then 5 more minutes later, he left the small table and standing in the middle of the interview room-------turn around and around, can't stop.  

Of course, he is a normal child and not the hyperactive or mentally retarted. In fact, it made him so boring and wanted to draw the attention.

Finally, principal Yau invited him to join the interview, he put his hand on the shoulder of principal and shared with him so friendly and talkative.

如軒Mother及waterdrop 所述，PA 候選人簡介已在上星期由選舉小組派發。

我希望大家能盡量抽空出席家長會的會員大會，我們可能把焦點多集中在理事選舉上，其實這只是會員大會的一部份，其他的討論事項如核數報告等也需大家的審批通過。家長會是屬於大家的團體，每年一次事務性質的會議就如我們處理家事一般，需要我們每一位的支持及参與。

當然，會中還有家長合唱團的獻唱，可以聽到大家美妙的歌聲！
