I'm not sure yet. May consider if can't find any other course suitable for him. I tend to let him expose to other environment instead of school all the time.
The school bus fee is the same every month no matter how many school days.

I understand your point.  The issue is that the summer holiday of LH is much shorter than the other kinders.  Maybe it's a bit difficult to find a course which suits the 3 weeks' holiday.

I plan to let Preston take swimming class this summer, do you know any good places to learn swimming? I'm thinking of either Wampoa or YMCA, have u heard any comments? Preston had learned swimming last summer just at our clubhouse, but it wasn't very serious, so he didn't learn much from it.

We went to Ocean Park today, it's so hot and humid, fortunately it doesn't rain. We put a lot of effort to persude Preston to take the cable car.

  Ka Ka enjoyed the LH summer course last year. It was very excited because she had a outgoing activity. Also the school bus provided for the LH students only without paid.It was a prolong school life.
If I cannot find any good activities for her in this coming vocation. She will join again.

I heard that the swimming class offered by YMCA is not bad.  I've brought Brian to watch the kids having swimming class there some time ago and I could see that the kids enjoyed it.

Guess what !  I told my mother in-laws that I intended to let Davin take school bus after school next academic year.  She rejected the offer of having more free time.  She'd rather spend time & money travelling to & fro.  I can feel that she does not want to miss anything that she can observe if she picks Davin up after school.  Even the grandparents (esp. woman) are so nervous about the kids.  I can feel that she may not prefer to live separately with us but I can't stand having zero freedom & sharing my private life with them for the rest of my life.

I may talk to Hei's mom when I see her, but I was told that Hei Hei & Mizuki may take swimming class of LH Clubhouse (according to Hei's grandma).

Maybe your mother-in-law thought that it's not safe for a small kid to take school bus.  Besides that, will your parents-in-law talk to Miss Cheng when they picked up Davin from school?  They will miss this chance if Davin takes school bus.

When I proposed the idea, she asked we might let him take school bus to school as well.  I said I might want to talk to the teachers sometimes.  And then, her response was no.  I know they will not talk to the teacher (teacher being too busy taking care of kids off from school) but it's just they won't let go.

Maybe you tell Davin to persude grandma that he likes to take the school bus, maybe they'll listen to Davin instead.
It's heavy rain today, glad Preston has no extra-cirrucular activities today.

Miss Cheng called just now & mentioned that Davin was not in the mood today (not that happy & in fact quite nervous) because of the rain & the dark sky.  He was scared that there might be thunder.  How about Preston or Brian ?

What Lydia suggested is a good idea and it worths a try.

BTW, Brian is also afraid of the bad weather, esp when there is thunder.  If it happened at night, he would ask for sleeping with my husband and I.

When I saw your message, I asked Preston if he was afraid of the heavy rain at school this morning. He told he's not scared but Davin was Scared. I guess he might be quite scared that even Preston knew about this or they are too friendly that Davin told Preston about it.

According to Brian, his best friend is Cheuk Yan.  If I asked him to include more in his list of friends, he had different answers at different times.  Preston, Davin, Crussida, Ching Ching are always on the list.

I will probably go as well.  I don't know if you participate last year, but we had to attend a review & feedback session after observation with the teaching staff & the principal.
