As most of us here have already seen “little tiger’s” new/handsome look and the “文昌位” has basically been secured, it should be the high time for the “mature tiger” to show us his latest look after spending a full year’s efforts in paving the way for “little tiger’s” bright future. 

All of us are very eager to see your new photo!!

I disagree with you this time.

Instead of no one showing up here, I am afraid that the number of posts will skyrocket as many people may want to leave comments after seeing flostangraphy’s latest photo.  

However, please give him some more time to pick the best one and show us!!

Historically, a lot of quarrels (I won't classify them as debate / discussions) caused a lot of topics re TSL to be permanently wiped out in BK. (annihilated, exterminated, ... take your pick haha )

i'm so touching and even feel more comfortable with this family!!!
1 and 1/2 week waiting and i will know if we would officially join the big family!
or in another way, plan B, reapply in june and officially join the family a bit later!!

Well let me suggest a Plan Z, which I don't think you'll need but might be of interest to some other parents :

TSL also invites appl for P2 - P5 each year, so there's still lots and lots of chances.
The kid of a friend of mine was admitted to P3 a few yrs ago, now already graduated.

Actually for many many pr schools, there are vacancies in P2 - P5 cos the kids may change from 1 school to another midway for various reasons.

My suggestion is only the last resort.  Don't worry, ai invisible hand will always be able to guide everybody to their seats eventually.

The fact that every student has to learn Japanese or French, would this be a major issue for student who may enter the school at P2-P5 ?   Are they going to have major difficulty catching up ?

Well, don't take the Basic Fr / Basic Jap lessons too seriously, ==> they're NOT a major issue and kids should not have much trouble catching up if they join somewhere in P2 - P5.  To me, they're just additional chances of exposure to another language ==> widen their scope and knowledge.

The equation is, for coverage and books used, 2 yrs of Basic Fr = 1 yr of regular Fr Lang classes.  

Don't know for Basic Jap, expect other parents to help out in this.

After all its only French / Japanese for primary school, very basic stuff.  Although the grades will appear in the report, they don't count towards average mark calculations and rank in class.

After 5-1/2 years training on earth, my girl now  speaks fluent Chinese and English.   Six years training in Japanese / French, I expect she masters the langauge much more than basic !!   

Well well, am I expecting too much ?
