Our holiday was not bad except I got sick and lost my voice for a day. We went to 鯉魚門渡假邨 for a day camp and it's a great place for the kids. Preston was so happy to play with a bunch of kids at similar age (all of them are kids of my collegues). Since I got sick for the next 2 days, we just went to Kowloon Park and ride the bike at our estate. Last day we had a gathering at my friend's house so Preston played with a lot of kids again. Too bad I have to return to work so soon and the weather is so nice today.

A few colleagues of mine got sick this week.  After working with them closely for days, I started to have minor fever today.  Feeling so tired now.

Does Davin's coughing start to cease?  Hope he will get well soon.  Brian has been taking medicines for over two weeks.  He is at the stage of recovery but he still has to finish the whole course of anti-biotics.

Cheuk Yan has to take Art Venture class in LH from 11-12.30 on Sat.  I will ask Cheuk Yan's Mom to see if the time slot of 2-3pm is alright for Cheuk Yan.

Davin vomited during sleep last night & got fever.  I've no idea why.  My in-laws will take him to visit doctor again.  I will go back home earlier today.  Hope he could get well soon & be able to go to school next Monday.

I'm tired today (seems that all of us had been tired during the long Easter school holiday) as I only got 2 hours of sleep.

Did Davin vomit because of his sickness?  He might have swollowed some mucus with germs to his stomach so he had fever.  It's good that he could vomit to get rid of some germs.  BTW, beware of his throat.  Brian used to have fever whenever he's got sore throat.

Hope Davin will get well soon.

I guess so.  Doctor said he got fever which affects his stomach.  He cried every time he vomited.  Couldn't sleep well last night (me too).  He slept immediately when he returned home from the clinic.  I heard that he is better now.  Thanks for sharing the experience.

Will Brian tell you that he's got sore throat ?

Does Davin need to take anti-biotics?  He should take more rest and he will recover very soon.

If the doctor told me that Brian's throat became red and swollen, I would ask Brian to see if he felt painful when he swallowed something in order to check if he was feeling better.  He could tell me whether he felt painful or less painful.

missing all of u, I am very busy on my work  and  take care of my son. I do not have spare time on- line for a long time.  I am very shy that I went to work in easter hoilday and neglected Ka Ka.

How about the math Kumon?

The centre in LV reject Ka Ka to the trial class coz she is not enough 4 YRs old.And the teacher show the homewok which is simalar to the homework of LH given.What is your comment?

Cheuk Yan and Brian will join Kumon Math trial class in Whampoa Centre.  The centre in LV should be a better choice for the two kids.  However, Cheuk Yan's Mom called the centre in LV and they also said they will not accept kids below 4.  Will tell you later whether they like the course.

Kumon does not provide trial class during the time slot 2.30-3.30pm on Sat.  Finally, we chose Tue afternoon and 5.30-6.00pm on Sat, 4 lessons in two weeks.

Davin finally recovered.  We arrived at school before it opened.  Davin was happy to be back to school again.

I do think that when kids turn 4 they can join more lessons.  I can understand that the centre in LV does not accept kids aged under 4.

Actually kids as young as 3 yrs old can attend Kumon coz they will do an assessment so they can assess if the kids is capable or not, not only by age.

The centre is Whampoa is good in a sense that the class itself is 30 min and they give another 30 min free for the young kids with story-telling and some games(some centres don't have). Ms. Kwong is nice too (although she looks a bit cool) and the kids like her.

It's good to know that time for story-telling and games are available in the Whampoa centre.  It makes the lessons more interesting.

Brian and Cheuk Yan will have the first lesson this afternoon.

Is the tuition fee of kumon standard to all centres ?  How much is it now ?

As far as I know, it's standardized at $500/month for 30 min. of class.

I just wonder how do the kids perform after the long holiday? Have you guys seen Preston in the morning, is he alright at school?

Brian and Cheuk Yan enjoyed the class very much.  It's good that another classmate, Michael, was also there in the trial class.  Will consider joining if Brian really likes it.

The fee for Kumon is standardized for all centres and all subjects, $500/month for kinder and primary students and $550/month for secondary students.

I saw Preston on Mon & Tue.  He was fine.  In fact, all kids behaved alright after the long holiday (according to my observation).

Thanks, ljsze. Good to know that all kids are behaving well. I guess most of the kids like to go to school (even me, I'd rather they go to school rather than staying at home )
How's Davin, has he fully recovered?

Thanks for your care.  Davin had fully recovered on Monday.  If you prefer Preston going to school, will you consider let him join Summer program of the school this year ?  Most probably I think I will do so.  And, after that, we will have a trip before school starts.

Btw, is the school bus fee the same every month (just like school fee) ?
