我女下年入讀，,請問由元朗至校要多少$$$???

今日突然接到校車部打電話來不斷解釋,  o下得我以為冇校車搭, 原來是加價! 其實只有我地學校短月收半價. 而家汽油又貴, 只要合理的加價, 相信我校既家長都可以諒解o既!

係嘅，我都可以理解它們加價的原因，亦無想到校車自99年至今也沒有加過價，只是囡囡只讀了半年便接到加價通知是有點兒失預算罷了。

I am not aware that we parents could go back to the school to join the Chinese Day.
Anyhow, my girl said it was a day full of fun!!!

Meanwhile, we have not decided whether to buy the ticket for the fund-raising concert or not?
But as you know, each student has already been given a fund-raising envelope so there are many ways that we can make our contribution to the New Annex!!!

I bought the am tickets. How about u?
I chose the pm show originally and the class teacher called me and explained to me that am and pm are different shows. So I changed to am. So we have to wake up early on that day.

Kung Hei Fat Choi.

Just noticed that there is Newsletter no. 2 (posted on Feb 8th) under the newly-created "Alumni" section of the school web site.

Glad to hear that some of our alumni are doing quite well in other secondary schools.
I think it is great to add the "Alumni" section in the school web site so we will know some news about the ongoing development of our alumni.

Also, a strong sense of belonging to TSL can be fostered in the long run as it is still a new school.

Good stuff!!
Credit should be given to those teachers and alumni involved.

Don't mention it.
Before my kid entered the school, I asked so many questions last year to the current TSL parents and a lot of them are very nice to provide me with all sorts of information.
Therefore, I am now very pleased to answer some of the questions to the new TSL parent-to-be.

Hope your kid will join the TSL family in the coming September.

My girl will going to join TSL in 2007. I don't worry much about the school, is only one thing i concern is the transportation, bcas we are living in Yuen Long.
hope will be fine for her, she is a late  born child in Dec. :

If you go to school bus section of the school web site, you can see that there are a lot of 31 bus routes picking up TSL students from various parts of Kowloon and New Territories.
There are students living in as far as Tuen Mun, Sheung Shui, Ma On Shan, Tseng Kwan O, and even Hong Kong Island East.
Therefore, Yuen Long is not the farthest as the school bus can go all the way from highway to the school.

You may try to cultivate the habit of making your kid to go to bed a bit early from July/August onwards so your kid should be able to cope with that in September.

Hi Manlili,

I too also live in YL and my boy will go to TSL this Sept.  FYI, I called up the school bus company and they have bus run to major estates in YL.  Where I live is the last stop before going onto route 3 and it leaves at 7.12am and arrives at TSL at about 7.40am and then have to queue up to get into the school gates.  My son is also a year end child but I don't think there is any need to worry, they will catch up when they get a bit older because childrens brain reach same maturity level by their mid primary years.  If you need anymore info, you may call Mrs. Lau from the bus company at 92311415 or 26255584.  Hope this helps.
