I understand that both moving and arranging b-day party are time consuming jobs If you really want to hold a party for Eugene, may be you can choose those places where most of the work are prepared for you, like McDonald's, at least you do not need to arrange the small presents and the games.  You can also arrange an earlier date, say 2 wks in advance, so that it won't clash with you moving date.

I am also wondering if I should hold a b-day party for Andrew this year.  His is on Sep, and my due date also lies on his b-day.  On one hand, I'd love to arrange a party for him, and he'd told me that he'd love to have his b-day party in McDonald's (since all his classmates hold theirs there), on the other hand, I'm afraid I'd be in the hospital by then.  Hubby suggested that we can hold his b-day party earlier, and can arrange it with baby shower.  I donno, still thinking

McDonald is good... my son has his b-day party in McDonald for 2,3,4 yrs old b-day... and he still insists to have it there next year.  You can choose the one in North Point Healthy Village, it is the only one that has slides inside the McDonald in HK Island.

Andrew will talk to my tummy every day, and pretend to be communicating with the bb.  He makes me laugh everytime he does this So far, he seems to understand that a bb is coming, and he seems to be prepared to take care of him, but I'm not sure how he'll react after I really gave birth and bring the bb home

Chloe, Where do you get the news? I have not informed of how much is next term school fee. In fact the school fee of this year is HK$19XX not HK$1800.

I got the registration letter earlier saying that the fee for SEP is tentatively $1881.- and several days later another letter came in saying that government has approved an annual fee of HKD23,100.-

The increase is very substantial so I am just wondering whether there is any improvement plans.

Any idea?

I agree with Cyrus, if you used to have b-day party with Andrew, I also think you should have it earlier this year so Andrew will feel better.  It's so funny that Andrew will talk to the baby now... you should feel very happy when he's doing so.

Chloe, school fee for this year is HK$1931 per month & HK$160 for snack fee. Compare with this semester (06-07) &the previous semester (05-06), the school has increased around 10%. So if is the case that the school fee increase to your said amount. It is really scary !!

It is a bit frustrating - don't know why there is such a big increase!

I remembered you said Miss TSANG invited you to be one of the volunteers in today's outing.  How's it?  Are the monkeys difficult to handle ... hahaha

I was so happy to be the volunteer yesterday. . All we need to do is to make sure they are together, not running to somewhere else. All the kids behaved  so well. They all lined up one by one, no one pushed or ran around. Basically the trip is to let them buy a stamp at the counter, stick it on the right position on the envelope and put it to the right post box. Teachers also introduce different kind of stamps too. The trip is simple but every kids learn something. Ms Tsang also praised them at the end of the trip.

Ellie, I think Andrew really wants a baby girl. As I asked him if he has a baby brother or sister, he immediately answered a girl.Then I asked him if the baby is really a girl, he seems a bit shy & told me is a boy. He is so cute.

Chloe, as we have not received any notice about the school fee, therefore, we have no comments on this  issue. However I surely understand the fustration. The increase is really tremendous.

Tks for telling us what they've done that day.  That night, we asked Andrew what has he done in the Post Off, he told us that he posted a 心意卡to a classmate, and the classmate posted one to him too.  He can tell us where the stamp should be sticked, and how he's going to post a letter.  I think this outing is really educational

I really donno whether Andrew loves to have a brother or sister.  When I asked him if he likes to have brother, he told me yes.  But I really donno how he really feels, since he'll please us and make us happy.  He's quite mature on this, but I'm really worried he'll hide his feelings Tks for letting me know.  I'll talk to him more

Horace_mama, 上午班唔知喎，不過下午班就一定有。因為我朋友個女上星期去考K2，校長話正校得下午校有位，所以我朋友揀左分校。不過我自己覺得應該有的！
