I know that Keenmind offers Putonghua lesson. Is Keenmind successful in building up the interest of your kids in Putonghua? Are they able to communicate in Putonghua now?
putonghua 因我個仔返上午班我地無下午班多咁多接觸, 而n 班只係一星期2堂putonghua. 而我仔仔依家都可以同人用putonghua 溝通的

As for English, what level of Oxford Reading Tree does a K3 student read? Do you think Keenmind's students have good English standard?
英文km 用oxford reading tree 我地k3依家用green color 啦. 我地d 英文好唔好, 我唔知你的standard 而我認為我仔可以同人溝通都ok 啦.

Do your kids enjoy studying in Keenmind?
我仔仔好喜歡返學亦好喜歡keenmind, 而佢亦叫我朋友d 仔女入黎讀...

I give KM's PTH 100 marks.  我仔K2開始讀KM international class, 之前接觸PTH機會不多, 佢讀後不久PTH有大進步, 也說得頭頭是道.  以不是PTH為母語, 連跟課本的CD也沒聽(懶 ...)的情況下, 我自己就很滿意了.  我仔的老師規定PTH課堂是只可說PTH, 我爸媽去完學校旅行回來報告說全車的小朋友都只用PTH or English對話, 而且個個d PTH都好好tim.  還有K3 pm class 有pin yin學, 每週都會派發那week的課文內容回家溫習, 個人覺得學校很用心去做.

你知不知KM在舊年普師會幼稚園組4人及30人集誦的成績?  據說舊年是第一次參加, 30人在初賽拿第二, 可能經驗不夠, 總決賽時
輸了舞台視覺這part!  不過4人就拿了冠軍!  今年真希望30人能有更好成績.

English reader 現在讀的是相對ORT Stage 4 (KM uses Oxford Story Tree).  My view is their students' overall English is good.

My kid enjoys his school life very much.

Thanks so much for your sharing. After hearing what you said, I feel confident to let my son study in Keenmind.

Btw, you mentioned that your son started studying in international class since K2, so did your son study in am class during N1 and K1? What's the pros and cons of studying in am and pm class? How many lessons of PTH per week in international class? Or is it the same as non-international class?

我仔是K2插班入KM的, therefore, I don't know the details of KM's N1 & K1.  

For K2 & K3, we have one assigned PTH teacher & one NET as classteachers.  So, there are PTH and English lessons everyday.  Basically both streams receive the same quality of education except the language environment.  But be prepared that the use of PTH in N1 may not be as heavy as in K2 & K3 because N1 students are still very small.  You can see the participants for 普師會集誦 are all from K2 & K3 pm classes because their PTH is better developed at these stages.

My point of view is that whether to take the local or int'l stream depends on you and your son's needs, esp. for N1 and K1.  If your kid can skip the afternoon nap, and you want him to expose to English and PTH more, you may take pm class.  Otherwise, am is better as I don't see a big difference academically.

Anyway, don't worry about the differences now as your kid's needs should be on the top pirority.  I've seen a case that a kid used to study am in K1 but changed to pm for K2 & K3 for more PTH and English.  Another case is that a kid changed to pm during K3 term 2, who used to be in am class.

-what kind of homework from n1- k3, ie when they teach kids to write and what kind of words, 幾時學加減數,

- any drawing / musical lesson

聽講keenmind都幾著重學術,會唔會好pushy,會唔會只重谷學生成績而忽略左其他嘢如培養小朋友自信心,思考能力,分析力等等
雖然這些都幾vague,但我想知你地點睇keenmind

My daughter also got accepted by KM N1a.m. class.  I am also deciding whether to let her study in KM or Learning habitat.

I would like my daugher to grow happily, initiative to learn, be polite.  Do you think KM is a good place to start ?

candyho1, my son was started from N1 a.m. class. His first day is his 2 years old birthday.  Besides, he did not say a word but after 1.5 months he started to say some words and now we could not stop him to chat chat with others and express his comments.

哥哥响普師會當日既表現應該都唔太差啩?! 因為我無得入去睇, 但佢自己淨係覺得差幾分至可以攞優良獎~  佢果組有好強勁既對手, 冠軍係我覺得好熟面口既女孩子, 之前曾經有電視台訪問過佢媽咪, 問佢點樣去培養d仔仔女女朗誦得咁叻, 第二名既係前藝人龔慈恩既囡囡...我覺得呢個係一個好好既機會去俾哥哥去見識下外面既世界係點...出年我就緊係又會靜雞雞報左名至講俾兩位寶貝知喇!  所以懇請各位auntie記得通知我, 尤其係auntie EVA!
