My friend told me there is a stupid PE teacher in Logos.  He is very rude and likes to scold students all the time.  He is a guy, who is tall with a belly.  He is from China I guess.

Do you guys know his name?

I think it's better to chat at the Logos PA forum as a mean to support the PA.  So, after parents' like KenBaBa got the PA accounts, I suggest to chat there.

However, for those people who are interested in our school and have queries, I think it's our (parents') responsibility to share our comment with them.

I think you will agree that we are happy to see new faces (parents) who share similar educational thought.

It's a good idea.  However, I wonder if you would mind if my wife and I could only join you guy between 2 - 3pm after bringing my daughter to Sai Kung CC at Logos and before the PC.

No problem.  Originally I planned to have the lunch tea held at Po Lam area ( cheaper and more delicious ) but the site and time is really not so convenient to us.  Therefore, non-smoking area of Choi Ming Seafood Restaurant at Tiu Keng Ling should be the choice ( where actually is the canteen for many Logos teachers ).  I will be there and hold the table(s) and seats ( I am familiar to one of the Asst Captains ) starting from 1330 hrs on 14-10-2006 and will leave at around 1450 hrs.  You are all welcome to join in and may come at any time within the specified time range.  Please PM me for 報名 for easier and better arrangement on or before, let's say, 12-10-2006 la.  See you and     .

First of all, I notice that it was the 1st entry under your account.

Secondly, I think if problems encountered with a particular teacher, it is inappropriate to ask ABC or DEF here but you may or better to or have to talk to that teacher or your child's headroom teacher directly and expediately in order to have a better understanding of the situation and to gain a quick resolution through the efforts of your own.  It is the concerned parent(s)' own business / obligation and the welfare of the child !! Am I right? Sorry for my straight words but it is my words spoken after watching the Queen's Classroom   .

Furthermore, it will be unfair to all those concerned and also unjustified for us Logos parents ( or the public ) to add any unsolid comment or unsounded opinion.

Sorry for the fact that this open forum has appeared to be occasionally made use of by some provokers. Please take my advice re my paragraph two.

Dear beckhamtam,
My child is in DS1 and she was only saying that the English teacher was very demanding. She said that when school started in September.  Now, she tells me that she and her other classmates begin to like this teacher because she believes the teacher teaches them well. By seeing the exercise sheets my child brings home, I can see that the curriculum is systematic and well organized. By doing them, my child simply doesn't need additional revision at home. To me, this teacher is one of the best English teachers I come across in the past 2 years. It's about time our children get more expectation from the school. After all, they're in the Development Stage, don't you agree?
Personally, frequent punishment of any sort is not what most parents want to see because suppression is a very bad way of teaching. You first have to understand the reasons for applying the penalty. I would advise to speak directly to the teacher or have a word with your child's homeroom teacher to avoid misunderstanding.

Really, I dont know above this school sys.  I just want to know the math is teaching eng or chin, jump 1 grade or not?  Did then need to sing Eng Rythms or Chin.  poams and write a sentence or dictation.

不好意思，近排很忙未能及時回覆．囡囡至從升上DS-2後，明顯大個囡了，起碼早上叫起床都較以往順利，做功課和執書包也很敏捷．至於你問到現在功課是否多了及深了？我都覺得是的，尤其是社會科工作紙方面，真的繁複了而且答案也要詳盡一點，不過我見她自己上網找資料（找料是她最大興趣），要問到我的也不算多應該可應付得來．每日放學後，詢問她的校園情況，總會有一些趣事或開心事，例如班主任請她和另一位同學幫手攞報紙，能夠為同學服務同可以早啲利用小息同午飯後時間看報紙，她已經很開心了（她對那些趣聞和新科技很感興趣）．

KenBaBa你囝囝有沒有話英文堂很開心，尤其是上NET TEACHER堂的時侯，老師教他們英文，但班學生教她中文，他們會用一些簡單英文句子盡力解釋給老師聽，當然佔用的時間很少很少也未必每堂可以有機會，但她們卻十分享受那短短的過程，聽亞囡講當時情形我都覺得很好笑．
