It must be the school's day of picnicking for different classes la.  There must be a lot of administrative and preparative works to be completed before the relevant notice could be issued.  For this particular event, there still has ample time to make announcement !  

Nevertheless, on the other hand, it is advisable that the announcement should not be made so late as we parents also would need time for necessary preparation and arrangement to coordinate with the school issues and in the past, many notices give us very limited time for consideration and response.

Hello Kenbaba,

I see. I didn't send my son to school in the morning time.  I usually fetch him after school and chat with his homeroom teacher so that I can learn about his progress in the class.

Yes. From time to time, the school adminstration will organise some class visits for the parents. I remembered that there were 3-4 class visits for designated subjects in designated class last year.  If you're interested, you may submit the reply form for the attendance. Parents will be arranged to sit in another classroom (to minimize the disturbance) to watch live TV which shows the situation occurring in the designated classroom.

By the way, my husband will join the voluntary service on the sports day.

You can participate in the outing if you take up the voluntary work to help in the outing. However, you'll not be assigned to help your daughter's class.

Sorry for late reply.  Just come back after a 3-days camp with my family and friends.  I am sorry to hear that KenMaMa is unable to attend the event.  May be you could take some pictures and video to share with her.

My girl is very "sticky". If she knows I'm there, she surely will try to find me out no matter what class I am to help with. This is a problem.

I'm sorry that I will have to let you down. My work has been keeping me busy during the daytime and my girl during the evening. I didn't realize that the curriculum this year has become so demanding all of a sudden. I even find a hard time catching up. Do you feel the same?  However, I do look forward to having KenBaBa and qq_dad and many more of our dear friends running for candidacy in our PA.

Sorry for my late reply. For the sports day, I didn't sign up for the volunteer work. What a shame!!
You know la, i fall into a category of the working force where i'm unable to set myself free whenever i want, with the exception of Saturday afternoons, which i'm already committed to the PC. Wish you, yeenmama and KenBaBa an exciting day.

You're smart this time!! (I'm just joking...)
I quite enjoy my time here but I tend to stay away from the official post for mainly my reasons explained previously. I'll continue to enjoy the freedom of speech here through where my (so as many of our voices) voice is expressed, heard, echoed, recognized and gained support. Hopefully this will lead to gradual amelioration of the school that in the near future, our principal is going to achieve his dream (our dream too) of delivering the school to a global success.

Hi deniset, KenBaBa and others,

I think no parents will support a PA member often fails to attend the PA meeting, do you?  

Due to job nature, I am a frequent traveller and may not be able to attend the meeting ah.

However, even I may not be a PA Exco, I would try my best to find ways to resolve problem.  Deniset, I think you still remember what I did in September about the School Bus Route.

Besides, just like deniset, I shall gradually fade out from this Forum la.
