Diff in P5 Engl WS now and then :
its actually a diff in the sequence
(sooner or later this and that area will be covered)
than degree of difficulty.

Need to go along with the Engl TB.
Remember we used Welcome Plus before.

Thanks for your clarification on the English worksheets.

To tell you the truth, I was classified as a “gifted child” by my friends when I was young.  
Therefore, assuming that I can still maintain my I.Q. at the same level, I can barely be classified as a “gifted parent” now.
According to the school’s arrangement in the past few years, I might have the chance to “skip” one grade and go straight to P5 now.  
If that is allowed, the Maths will then work out like 20% x 5 = 100% (full picture).

From now on, whenever we want to know something of a particular topic, we can gather 5 of us together and each contributes 20%.
We can even form a “Dream Team” to work out the content of the upcoming examination papers!!  

Anyhow, we still need to wait for TINGMUM’s return in order to form the “Dream Team”.
Hope she will show up soon.

P.S. : The above is purely fictional and is only for fun.
Don’t take it too seriously!!

Bluestar,

Whenever you predict something, you always scare me to death!!  

Although my sixth sense is quite accurate, you beat me recently by accurately telling us about the school suspension
even 2 weeks before the official announcement!!  
I really hope that your sixth sense will not work in the next few months, unless it’s something positive.  
Or I should beg you cancel the function of your sixth sense until further notice!!  
Don’t tell us that your sixth sense is “itchy” again!!  

Taking this opportunity, I wish all TSL pupils very good health, at least till the end of the first term test.  

Both the school and the parents cannot afford to have school suspension the second time again!!  

P.S. : Hope your child will get well soon.

i couldn't wait anymore and called st margret co.... and got a bad news...

when i brought our son to the interviews... i was looking at all those children, how bright, smart and cute they all look like.... i told my wife how would i select the ones to study in the school amount them...... i really couldn't... and i wonder the interviewers how...
i think they couldn't neither... and they will never able to find our son smarter than the others.... because he is just a normal kid amount the smartest within the 3000 others !

I have never seen such a pessimistic post from you!!

Based on the past experience, the kids who could answer all the questions in the interview or those who could tell everything happened inside the interview room to their parents might not necessarily be the ones to be shortlisted.
I think the school will consider various factors.

There is nothing you can do now except waiting for another few days.
Don’t be so nervous!!
Different schools might have different criteria in selecting the candidates.

Cheer up please!!

i do feel better now... i think both busy at work and stress about the p1 one mixed to a unwanted panic to me....
i'm happy we still get support from you, and i should always keep the mind think positively in order to see clearly the issue and solution!!

after some reflection and thinking, i do think there are maybe many details and points we have missed and was thinking not important that finally made the different....

thanks again for all your support.
i really hope that camill will go to the tsl 2nd in session! we have now rebuilt our confidence and pay more attention on the details and fine tone camill's communication skill.

You had better NOT be ("gifted" ) when you were vvv young.
Usually its vvv difficult to keep.
There're actually v few 相如s around to 拜相. (did I get the Chin name right ? )
Usually the case is only 小時了了, _ _ _ _. (for hangman pls, not word scramble)

hey man....個天都唔比小TIGER入smc 2nd in, 仲唔係已經選擇左最適合你小朋友 + 你鐘意既TSL咩.....做乜要唔開心....5日後小心笑到牙較都甩呀!
(BTW, 我識一個以前幼稚園既家長, 佢女上年讀左一年P1, 今年即轉走去第二間讀P2, 下次有機會見面話你知詳情....SO NOW....焉知非福呢...RIGHT?)
