michael話大家玩得非常happy, d水一早飲晒, 仲話今日個C餐好好味tim.........
還有我今朝為他ready的chicken wing亦告沽清......我諗明天要預備多d水和chicken wing先得....

仔仔和爸爸玩了親子遊戲.  老公話他自己就快中暑.

但有一件不幸的事情發生了 -  有一位女同學在跳樓梯時, 跌破了下巴 & 撞崩了牙齒, 有 ambulance 到場送她去了 hospital.  希望她快d好番.  大家都要叫小朋友要注意安全.

I was there. I saw Miss Chan (Teacher) taking care of her.

The scratch was less than 1 cm.  Not very deep. Blood came out all right. The girl didn't cry.  Strong kid.

Hot day.  I think each kid will need at least 3-4 bottles of 375m water.  Not practical to carry that much.

One option is to tell your kid to get down to the ground floor.  There are a few drinking fountains, for drinking and filling up the bottles.

I was at a distance. I did not see anything happened to the teeth. My son did not see that either.

From the wound on the jaw (if the girl is looking forward, the wound would be facing the ground; scars if any would not be apparent after healing), I guess she might have fallen down on one of the steps and bumped her jaw on the edge of the steps, causing the teeth hitting against each other.  It is all guessing.

if anything happened to her teeth, I do hope that those were infant teeth to be replaced later on.  She looks like 6 to 7 years old.

在現場看見至少兩類孩子, 一類常時間坐在父母身旁, 一類亂跑亂跳, 用眼睛去跟著這些孩子也有困難.

人嘛, 這是不是叫多員化.

原來是有2位同學受傷; 1位同學傷了下巴,  另1位同學傷了牙齒, 整個口腔都是血.

晚上我看了老公拍的video, and know why such thing happened.  小朋友們在玩跳樓梯啊 !  d 樓梯好大級, 他們還要從上跳下, 我看見都好害怕.  老師可能見有家長在場, 都沒有阻止他們 ;  但我看見有一班的同學, 大家圍在一起聽老師說話, 沒有去跳樓梯, 好好啊 !  at least, 在返工的我, 不用那麼擔心.

明天, 我和老公都不能出席,  大家如果在現場, 看見有小朋友玩跳樓梯, 請幫忙制止他們.

My son (JJ in 1B) told me about the incident too.  I know the name of girl who hurt her chin....

Also there were games for the lower grades to play so my son told me he was with a few friends playing these.  At the end of today's event they went for a little race themselves on the tracks!  With 2 other boys of 1B!

Did any of the parents who went for the Sports Day take photos too?  Do you think you can post them to share, or through e-class?  I realized that the school has not been updating any new photos since their last year's military training, which is very different from last year, even the photos of potential parents' session was posted immediately after that weekend when it was held!!!

係呢, 我睇到個post關於music lesson的陶笛練習
ga...講真我真係成日唔記得同佢練......好衰呀!!!
另外我個仔試音合唱團唔成功呀....好失望呀..
今年G1所有課外活動都無樣有得參加...勁唔開心.

至於學校好唔好, 我梗係覺得好la......special 係好似我呢d要返工嘅mami, 因為功課量唔多, 可以多d時間同佢地傾吓計睇吓書, 唔駛成日掛住要溫書測驗, 默書,考試咁,

但你一定要接受到佢嘅教學方式, 千萬不要和出面的學校比較, 否則你會成日覺得點解無功課ga點解呢樣點解嗰樣ga la

想一想, 當我們還是孩子的時候, 上學不外是上午班或下午班, 那有全日上課的?

今天, 孩子們在學校裡全日上課, 回家還有大量功課, 你們以為孩子們受得了嗎? 培僑就沒有大量功課.

一個人的成功與否, 與考試成績沒有多大關係, 還有各方的因素, 包括出身, 背境, 基因, 思考能力, 處事能力, 社交能力, 溝通能力, 忍耐能力, 社會關係, 應變能力, 處理逆境能力, ...

試想想, 學校能教的是什麼, 不外是語文和道德, 前者提供環境, 後者以說教形式傳播.

"上大人, 孔乙己, 化三千, 七十仕", 就連擁有三千弟子的孔子也只有七十二稍有成就, 我們今天還能知道的只有數個.

所以嘛, 望子成龍的家長們, 還是自己努力,總比以為把孩子送進名校就能成龍的想法來得實際.

話說回來, 培僑書院確是好學校, 孩子每天放學回家都是開開心心的, 對讀書認字也不抗拒. 身體狀況也挺好的, 活動多嘛!

我仔仔話我知, 試音後老師問他參加合唱團嗎 ?  他竟然說 :  'Ms. Yau, 我不想參加, 真的好對不起 ......',  我真的給他氣死.   其實2-3 years ago, 仔仔參加了香港兒童合唱團 ;  那時候, 他也是不大喜歡參加的, 是我想幫他報學校, 所以幫他報告的.    我不打算責怪他, 但仔仔真的長大了, 有他自己的思想 & 意見了......
