That's a good idea to go to have a lunch on 1/8 and I want to introduce to you that my department has  liaised a book shop where can offer a discount price of 13% off with my membership card.   Before 1/8 I will go there to buy the books to see wether can I buy all the items.  If there can be provided all the books.  I would like to bring you to go the Melbourne Book Centre where is located at Sai Yeung Choi Street nearby the Police Club after lunch.   Could you pls send the mobile phone no. to each other to convience the connection at MCS.

The 3% difference is $47.85.  I think it will be better if you call the book centre to check if all books are available.  I just call Ling Kee and they said that right now, not all books are available.  So, even on 8/1, there may still have books which you will need to order for deliver later.  

Moreover, the reading books listed by the school can't be find in most of the book shops.  I can only find the Chinese ones and listed price is $28 x 6.  If you purchase from school on 8/1, the price is $20 x 6, this is much lower.  Almost 31% discount.  The save up on the Chinese readings is $48, and there is the English readings which I have no idea, but think the school has bigger offer then we buy from outside.

Thanks for the offer. But, including the transportation fee, I think it will be better to purchase all from the school on 8/1.

Hi! 請問有沒有P2以上的家長呢?  想請問學校有沒有什麼特別規條?  現只知校裙要及膝,不可過膝. 穿白長襪, 頭飾為黑色或指定藍色.

因家長會八月底才開, 現想準備開學的日用品, 想知學校會否規定有關顏色, 款式.  譬如購買卡通公仔的文具等等, 校方會否認為不好呢?

AmyWonglo, you are right that engl. reading books are difficult to find out at bookshop, so I will order them with Chinese reading books at school on 1/8.

That is more choice at Mongkok.   Certainly, No problem anywhere to have a lunch on me, and I will let you know whether can I buy the books at Melbourne Book Shop as the aforesaid before 1/8, if some books can not been bought at outside that I buy at school.  
May we have fix the time and location where can be found each other, don't play hide and seek!   I am looking forward to see you.  And at the last week I want to consolidate to be grouping at the English Centre for the supplementary course to my kid, now has a mother already contacted me and reserve a seat sarting learning lesson in September.  on 1/8, anybody want to join, we can discuss on that day.   Bye!

I also purchased something (except the ruler and eraser) on 6/14 from PTA.  But these are not enough.  Like the name lable, the ones now in the market are very fancy, I just afraid the school does not want the kids to use fancy styles.  If so, it will be waste of money to buy something not suitable for school.

For P.1 & P.2, the school suggested to use triangular pencil and according to last year's practice, the school will order 2 doz. for each student in advance.
I think the school will keep this practice this year, so it is not necessary to buy those fancy pencils.

Further, the school did not encourage students using too fanciful stationery as they will affect the concentration of students in lessons for some students may play with their beautiful pencil sharpeners, rubbers etc.

Actually the school will not interfere with parents' choice on the stationeries or personal stuff (such as : lunch box), it's up to you decided whether you really like to buy those fanciful things for your daughter. However, the school only suggested to keep things as simple as possible. Remember, they are suggestion only.

The school does not demand to have books to be wrapped, but I prefer to have all of  books/workbooks to appear tidily and neatly, so I will wrap the books.

No problem on me but where is the extactly school hall located or is there only one hall there, or may it be the registered place we enrolled the application form  when we went at the first round applied, pls?

The school hall is the one that we went on 6/14 for the uniforms.  After taking the staircases, on the right hand side is the office.  I believe this is where we should hand out the Tong Fai.  Then walk further onward is the double door entry for the hall.  That should be the location where we should buy the books, collect the school bag from SPI and the uniforms (if you have not collect them).  If you take the school bus, the name card for the students who take the school bus should be collected on 8/1 as well.  The school bus company told me that I can give them the letter on that date regarding allow my girl to go home alone .

It can be made a decision where do we have a lunch on that day when we meet each other.   On my part, I have no problem.  Then, we wait at the entrance of the school hall where we will collect the uniform, school bag and notice etc. from school at 12:20 noon.
